RE: IU-Purdue game

Well, looks like Painter has decided to challenge Cody with Hammons, and it's paid off with two quick fouls on our big guy. Going to have to front him and help out on him now. See who comes off the bench--Elston?

We can afford to trade baskets with them all half, if that's what it takes. Just get out of here with a win. Up 20 at the under 16:00.

Don;t seem that it was that long since Henson was coach at Illinois, But I reckon it has. Look like the Hoosier are holding their own. Gonna be a tough battle for Purdue to make a comeback, Had to go walk my boys and missed the first part of the second half.

Still maintaining the 20 point lead at the under 12:00. Everybody still working hard, Purdue has stepped up their intensity from the end of the first half, but can't make a serious dent in our lead. Let's see what we can get done with Cody on the bench. He may have to come back when Hammons re-enters, though. If we can get to the under 8:00 up 20 with Cody on the bench, we'll be in good shape.

Well, we got to the 9:48 mark with Cody on the bench--but he can come back comfortably now that we've pushed the lead to 27. Man, this team is sweet. It's coming together.

Go, IU. Fight, Fight, Fight!

Good thing that the grammer girls are not here anymore or I would get a citation. That is what happens when I get Beamed. We are putting them away.I hope that we beat them by thirty.

The wheels are now coming off for Purdue, as they lose poise down 29. Hope nobody gets hurt.

We're officially in good shape. Now, Watford with the 3 and it's a 32-point game.

We had a kid on here is past years that used to hit the Cap'n Morgan pretty hard during games, and it did not look good on him.  Times were tough enough without our own fans piling on.  Got himself banned eventually, and richly deserved it.

Seems like the Beam makes you mellow.  Yeah, and a 30 point lead at Mackey, I can hang with that!

Glad to see DE get in the game and make a contribution.

GO HOOSIERS !!
Hey dbwheat, good to see you.  I'd say picking up full court with a 32-point lead at this stage is keeping the pedal to the metal.

Two good halves of ball, two games in a row.  Let's go for the hat trick against UM!

You got it, Johnnie boy.  Wow, what a romp.  37 point win.  On the road.  In the B1G.  Against your rival.

Major testosterone-booster.

I was impressed by the way the Hoosiers played.  That guy AJ Hammons on Purdue looks like a sure fire NBA center if he stays healthy.
