Saw Seth after the game say Louisville moving up to the top spot.   They just don't look like a numero uno team to me, mainly just not being good from behind the arc, or really, not being especially good shooters from anywhere.  Just good atheletes.  Sometimes, that's enough, though.

We should probably be #2 when the votes are tallied.  It's not likely we would leapfrog Louisville, since they won this week without Gorgui Dieng.

The question is, how far will Duke, Michigan, and Arizona drop?  Arizona should drop the furthest, since they should have lost at Colorado also but for a bad call, so the media voters at least will factor that in.  Kansas should move up.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Louisville, Indiana, Kansas, Duke, Michigan, Syracuse, and Arizona, in that order.  Arizona could drop further.

Louisville is at UConn tomorrow and has Syracuse at home next Saturday.  We could be back on top of the heap after this upcoming week.

We should be 2 or 3, dont make a lot of difference at this stage, just a bigger target on our back's.

And #2 in the USA Today poll as well.  Works for me.  Let Louisville wear the target:

why be #1 ?...will drop as soon as you lose next game...tourney is all that counts....do you get a trophy for being #1 in the polls at the end of the season ?

No, you don't, and that's obviously not the trophy we would want--but it certainly would help with getting a #1 seed overall in the NCAA tournament.  That's a long way off at this point, but something very valuable to shoot for.
