I was curious how come we never see Peter Jurkin - is he hurt or something - everyone else played today but no Peter?

Good question, but Jeremy Hollowell didn't get into the game either.  I have to say, if Jurkin is even more raw than Hanner, we may not see him much at all.  

Jeff Howard did get into the game for at least four different stints.  He looked fine, but it is puzzling that Jurkin and Hollowell couldn't get in for a minute or two in a 39-point rout.

Coach Crean was asked specifically about both Hollowell and Jurkin in his post-game presser.  For a guy who seems to enjoy talking as much as Coach does, he was pointedly terse in his responses.  

In his opening remarks, he mentioned that Tim Garl and other members of the staff were battling sickness, but when asked if that was why Hollowell didn't play, he only remarked quickly "Yeah...we played the guys that were there to play for us, that could help us."

When asked about Jurkin, he said "I went with the guys who have played".

Regarding Creek, all he would share about the injury was that it happened in practice.

You have to wonder if there is not more to the story, when Coach responds to questions this obliquely.  First semester grades are in--could that be part of it?

I think that Coach Crean knows better than me.  He never seems to go with a larger lineup with Hanner Perea and Zeller in at the same time.  I was just curious if anyone had any discussion thoughts on this.  I was hoping to see us go Big once in awhile.
