UK-Baylor
Gonna need a shower after watching this one. UK up 8-6 at the under-16, both teams looking sloppy and unorganized in the opening minutes.
No use for Baylor, of course, but the prospect of hanging a loss on Chicken John at coRuppt is just too appealing for me. Baylor needs to settle down and make UK work on defense.

Re: UK-Baylor
Baylor guy just hit the ...."Watshot"....at the half buzzer...same play...guy curled around and threw it to shooter who was at the same spot on floor as Watford...LOL

Re: UK-Baylor
Well, Baylor found a little rhythm in the closing minutes of the half, now up 5 at the break.
Ragged and jagged first half, both teams playing decent interior defense, neither team hitting shots from deep, neither showing a lot of patience. UK at 25% from 3-point range, not much better overall. 22 turnovers combined in the half.
Nothing here we couldn't beat.

RE: UK-Baylor
Baylor clinging to a 4-point lead at the under 8:00. They had the game pretty well in hand and then got careless with the ball and now it's anybody's game. Refs have called it pretty straight to this point, but now the big crowd is getting into it.
Noel and Wiltjer are not 3-19 from the floor, Harrow and Mays a combined 3-14. UK 8-15 from the line.
Anybody's game at this point.

RE: UK-Baylor
Four fouls now on Jefferson & Gathers for Baylor, and Cauley-Stein & Goodwin for UK. Noel with three. Losing any of those guys would be big down the stretch, even bigger if it goes to O.T.

I guess that we weren't the only ones that Caligreasy should have refused to play at home this year.

4-3, lol. UK should not even be ranked. What a joke. Well Cal, you can't win at home, on the road or at a neutral site. Just think how badly IU would have whipped the Kittens today.

RE: UK-Baylor
Pretty satisfying, despite Baylor coming away with the win, somebody had to. Big Blue Faithful filing out with over a minute left to play.
Senior leadership at the point from Pierre Jackson was huge for Baylor in crunch time. He missed a lot of shots and turned it over, but finished with 17 points, 7 boards, 5 assists, and 4 steals. 5-5 from the line, while UK went 9-18 for the game. Calipari will find out how quickly one can go from god to goat in the BBN.
How sweet would it have been to have Bob Knight calling this game? He might not have gotten out alive, but he would have taken a couple of them with him.

Just think how badly IU would have whipped the Kittens today. We would blow this UK team off the floor. And Cal knew that. That was the real reason he didn't want to play us this year at Rupp. He didn't want to get embarrassed at home. This won't be the only game they lose there this year, by the way. Watch and see.

Had to go over to CatsIllustrated.com and check out the mood. Not pretty. Hasn't been this much fun since the last days of Billy Clyde. Calipari scheduled this game to fill in the blank left by the IU game. This post sums up the BBN view of our series: ukfan79

Well good thing we got this instead of Indiana. They would have come into Rupp and beat us by 30-40. 12/1 2:33 PM | IP: Logged

Even their most brainwashed fans who think IU backed out of playing them have to know the real reason we aren't on their schedule now.

Yeah, and despite the dodging and jockeying and excuses, the streak at corRUPPt is over anyway--except now, instead of just being a slimy loser, Cal looks like a slimy, manipulative, chickenshizzle loser. Can't wait to hear the spin on this one.

RE: UK-Baylor
after watching Baylor against Northwestern last night can't figure how they go into coRuppt arena and win...but NW played a smart game and hit their shots except for the last couple of minutes when they could have put the game away sooner had they not missed so many FT's.

Can't help but smile. pUKe loses at home to Baylor. Baylor loses at home to NW. This will do wonders for pUKe's RPI.
