Coppin State is 1-5, but they did play Texas and USC on the road.  Nonetheless, our game with them should be no contest.

Too bad we only have two games scheduled between now and the Butler game on Dec. 15.  It would sure be nice to get Hanner and Peter back sooner.

He took over an impossible situation at TSU, nobody could've won this year with what he was handed. 

And he wasn't really a failure at UAB.  Look up his record sometime.   He won more than 20 games in four of his six seasons there.   He was a winner there overall, but they chose to make a change after six seasons anyways. 

And he did get us to a national championship game in 02, our only Final Four appearance in the last two decades, so it wasn't exactly all misery with him here.   

Never quite understood this type of bitterness and spite from some of our fans.  Personally, I'm hoping Davis does well wherever he is now or in the future.   Can't imagine any reason to keep cheering against him unless you're just an extremely sad and bitter person in your own life.

He's a good person who was in way over his head here. I wish him well.

thats what I said before...he had one good year at IU and all the others were mediocre...should not have got the job in the first place.....I'll say one thing he is playing a tough schedule in his first year there.

Davis was not close to a failure at UAB.  He gave them their best years since the 1980's.  And, it's an especially funny comment coming from someone that has never been a D1 coach.
