Bob Knight will call IU vs Georgia
Per Jeff Rabjohns Bob Knight will be part of broadcast team for IU vs Georgia on Monday!!! That will be interesting!

Well, it's not like he's coming back to Assembly Hall, but it's a significant step for him. I expect he'll show up, and I expect I'll listen and learn. Regarding the memorabilia auction, he's selling a lot of stuff in addition to his IU national championship rings, including Olympic team items, Orrville High, Ohio State souvenirs, and various other awards. Agreed. I think IU fans think about him a lot more than he does about IU. He'll call the game and be very logical about it. He may not be over the top euphoric about IU, like many fans expect him to be, but he will call it as he sees it and have his usual interesting insights into the game. Glad it's Georgia, at least a major league team, so there will be some competition to make the game interesting, and his calling it should be the most interesting commentary at that point in the season. As for selling his basketball paraphernalia, why not, maybe he thinks it's time to downsize. He needs to get over himself and realize he will always be associated with this school and we will always be associated with him. Why won’t he just accept our invitation and come back home? |

Why won’t he just accept our invitation and come back home? two thoughts on this....It would be nice if he came back to IU and buried the hatchet....but how many people on here or anywhere went back to a job they were fired or terminated from to be Mr. nice guy....I sure as hell haven't and I would not...

Did a great job calling the game objectively and fairly with a lot of insight that no one else calling college basketball games quite matches.

I kind of got the feeling that Knight showed a little lean towards the Hoosiers tonight...most of his comments were about how IU was playing the game...very good Bobby...and Zeller is still sick...saw him coughing just before halftime.

Yeah and I think what really irks people the most is that Bobby himself won't kiss anyone's ass. There's that and the fact that most of what he says is ironical.
