Indiana-Bryant

The wait is nearly over.  Game #1 tips off momentarily.

Expect the starters will be the same as the Indiana Wesleyan game, with the possible exception of Hulls.  Sheehey?  Creek?  Wouldn't be a surprise, either way.

Bryant's tallest starter is 6'8", 225# Vlad Kondratyev.  They have a couple of subs also at 6'8", but our lack of depth in the post should not be an issue tonight.  6'6" forward Alex Francis is their leading returning scorer, followed by 6'3" guard Frankie Dobbs.

Noah Vonleh is in the house.  Let's take care of business.  Let's put on a show.

Two words: Yogi Ferrell.

That's the story of the first half. What a difference he makes.

RE: Indiana-Bryant

Yogi will make a BIG difference this season. His speed, vision, and overall athleticism will improve the performance of every player of the floor with him.

Watford "manned up" on the boards. His shot will come, but his defensive intensity and his ability to rebound will make the team that much better.

Zeller was Zeller. His impact on both ends is huge.

Jordy and Mo will make a lot of treys this season with Yogi's ability to attract attention and then deliver the ball to the open man.

Vic and Will are the enforcers - they both have chips on their shoulders and each can fire the team up.

Remy was outstanding in a limited role. He seems to have improved more than any of the others from last year.

The season is off to an excellent start. Can't wait until we get the two long frosh back and in to the rotation.

If I'm Noah Vonleh, I'm excited about the athletic facilities, the offense, the enthusiasm and honesty of Coach Crean, the gorgeous campus, and the passion of the fanbase.....

But it's the prospect of Yogi Ferrell plugging my meter with those sweet dimes next year that put me over the top.  Congrats to all on this huge victory.

Let's win again on Monday.

To me, through one game, Remy is the most improved player. His shot looks better, and he looks more comfortable. Its nice to have so much depth.

I'm sure most people know about this site but for those that might not here is the link on BTN where they archive all games in case you didn't record or missed the game.
