Illini fan needs help posting on this site
I just received a message from one of our posters. He has a new computer and is having problems posting. If anyone knows what might be the problem, please share it here. Thanks. I have enclosed his message below:
"When I try to post with my new computer, the text of the post is entered, the post is credited to me but my comments are missing. I now hit the preview button, and the comments I enter vanish. Any idea what the problem may be? I can stll post on my older computer, but it is agonizingly slow."

Sometimes the grass isn't greener on the other side of the fence until AFTER you're on the other side of the fence.

Microsoft told me to upgrade to the newest IE, so I did and could not post afterward. Then I switced to Chrome and it was ok. |

When I upgraded to Internet Explorer 9, I encountered the same problem. I downloaded Mozilla Fire Fox and use it when I access the forum it works fine.

I haven't used IE since 2000 and never plan to due to the programming being amateur at best.

There is a topic on the Help/Reference Forum that discusses this issue. Another solution if you use IE is to run it in Compatability Mode. I know this has worked for me.

Thanks for all the help on this and to Jack for posting. I just added Scout to the compatibility view and am attempting to post. How about that, when I hit the preview button, my post is still there.
