RE: Illini vs UNLV
I'm just following on the Yahoo boxscore... We already have had 9 players in the rotation, and this is not a 'let's see what works' kind of game.

During commercial break, I went to see ND-IU game. DIckie V said one team to really watch this year, ILLINI.
It's tough to live in Illinois! Iowa blows and Indiana *****!

We're doing a great job drawing fouls.
Not doing so well with anything else.

Tyler Griffey is having a very nice game, so far.

I would have liked to see Crandall finish that with a dunk.

Not doing so well with anything else. We're playing good half court defense in my opinion, but they've beaten us in transition a few times.

Wow! UNLV gets away with allot of traveling.

Re: Illini vs UNLV
Struggling on offense but may get some points from the line. Really have to get back on d and not give up easy points. 2 easy hoops for UNLV in a low scoring game. Would like to see constant feed to ML and let him kick it out if the double comes

No opinion one way or another, but pretty sure Bruce's goal here is to wear them down. That seems to be the common trend, especially in the first half. Keep the starters fresh by only playing them 10-12 minutes in the first half, then let them go all out for more like 16 minutes in the second.

I liked him dishing to Sam Man with 3 guys on him on the break. If he would've taken the shot, that's the same behavior for which posters berated BP.
PS. Carrying on UNLV. I haven't heard a whistle for a carrying violation since our last PG left. That used to happen once a game, lol.

Man... Leonard has made some extraordinary passes today.... The guys need to learn to receive them and finish.

Re: Illini vs UNLV
Bad defense so far and giving UNLV easy transition hoops after bad shots. Make them play a full court game and we win this easy. Head struggling

RE: Illini vs UNLV
10 guys and none of them afraid to shoot... whether you want them all shooting is one thing, but people used to complain about some substitutions in years past where our offense turned into playing 4 of us guarded by their 5
