Decent team, but not that good. Never a threat, really.

Mooney is a good coach.
Agreed.  This is why Richmond is 10-0 (did I hear that right) in early season tourneys the last three years.

See what I did there?  A little reverse karma! devil

How do you feel about a 5 pt. lead?

Not sure if it's Sam or the fact that Leonard is always a reliable option or the new faces, but this is a good feeling. Haven't had to worry about blowing an 8 point lead late in 2nd half.

Now let's just keep developing and cleaning up the issues. This year will inevitably be frustrating but it could be a lot of fun.

Well I don't love it but I'm trying to be positive. I'll wait until they implode to stop enjoying a new team.

But you're right, this isn't great. I just trust they won't blow it completely.

When are we going to figure out that #3 heads to 3 point territory ALL the time?

Re: Illinois vs. Richmond

Richmond 42.1% 3's tonight.

That was their average coming into this game, not counting their center and one of their scrubs who hardly plays.

What you have to like about this team is in this kind of situation, there are 5 good free throw shooters on the floor....two of them bigs.

for all of our supposedly atheletic players we seem so slow not quick at all, and BP has not shown up again time for JB to take some of his minutes

Great free throw by Paul. UGH!
You can't steal second base and keep your foot on first.
