Discount Daaaaable Check that s@#$.....

Bears!!!  McCown played very well.  O-line is playing great.  Our WRs are absolute beasts. The D...well...they stepped up when they needed too.  Some really sketchy calls....and ZERO penalties on Green Bay which was a joke if you watched the game.  One of the reasons I hate Green Bay...the asslicking all the way back to the Favre years continues...

Gotta love how Ditka was the only one of nine guys that picked the Bears.

I love watching McCown play. His post-game interview was great, because you could tell how much this meant to him.

Hopefully Rodgers is out for a while so Packer fans can feel what it's like to have a bad QB.

Jeffrey and Marshall are pretty darn good combo for sure. Maybe not as good as Nelson and Cobb but as far as size, speed and intangibles they're really, really good!

Packers fans bitching about how they would have won if Rodgers had played. What if Cutler had played? It wasn't like McCown vs. Wallace was a slam dunk as to who was better. Sure it helps McCown's been in the system longer and actually started but it's not like Wallace was a slouch as a backup in his career either. I mean McCown was a 3rd stringer in 2011.

Get a good backup packers. Quit bitching! Flynn is out there! LOL!

If cutler had played I actually think you guys lose this one. McCown is a baller. As a Packers fan, I don't mind this loss. Keeps the nfc North a little more interesting for the next month, and I love to watch the bears fans have some hope just to turn into sorrow when you are officially not going to the post season. Wouldn't it be sweet if that game just happened to be when the pack returns to Chicago to knock you guys out of the playoffs. I love football :)

Bears always have a turd for a qb because the don't know how to Draft or handle free agency or even manage a roster. I would never root for a pro team that is being ran like circus.

If Cutler played, the Bears would have lost? You clearly don't watch much football. McCown had a good game but he barely completed over 50% of his passes. He also had accuracy issues. If Cutler played, the game wouldn't have been that close. It looks like Rogers has a broken collar bone which will put him out for a while. The Packers aren't good enough to tread water without him.

Well...thankfully those days of Jerry Angelo are loooong gone.  Different people calling the shots.  Let's see what Emery can do with the D this next year.  He's done a fantastic job upgrading the WR positions and building a pretty darn good OL that starts two rooks.

As for last night...Rodgers probably would have dropped at least 45 on this pathetic defense.  The safety play on this team is absolutely a joke.  Somewhere along the way Conte has been neutered and Wright just cannot tackle.  That being said...I'll take this win any day of the week.  McCown was fantastic last night....as was Forte and the OL.

Those were exactly the weak links I noticed last night (and in recent games) - Conte and Wright.  Two long Packer runs right through the middle of our defense, Conte is unblocked and he fails to even get a hand on either guy.  Of course they are not as exposed if we have a healthy Briggs & Melton.  Some defensive upgrades next draft/offseason are sorely needed and if we get that rolling, look out.

A great win and pumps some life back into the season and the fan base.

Run defense is still terrible and now special teams gaffes?!?  We miss Dave Taub terribly as the special teams coach.  Looked like Zook was coaching the special teams. Especially on the blocked punt.  You NEVER let that happen in the NFL!!

I'd sit Cutler one more game the way McCown is playing.  Cutler has a better arm but Josh had no INT's and managed the game pretty well. His decision making has been excellent.

We'll see how Josh does the rest of the season.  Too bad he's 34 and not 29 or 30.

Cutler has to prove he can lead a team into the post season (plus last a season healthwise) and a deep playoff run. He hasn't done that. I'd franchise him next year to see what happens.

Cutler is not deserving of a 5-6 year $80 million contract...not yet.

Two games in a row I did not expect to enjoy, us Saturday and da Bears ON Monday night.

The announcers say Cutler will be in great demand.

Aaron Rodgers: Broken Collarbone, out 3 weeks.
Jay Cutler: Torn groin, apparently back next week.

What? Do they even pretend these guys aren't on HGH anymore?

That was such an unbelievable game to watch. BEAR DOWN! excited

Side note: This is why I started to not like the Whackers; the Bears should have won back to back SB's and this cheap shot is likely the reason why McMahon's career was ruined (and is likely part of the reason why he has so many physical and mental issues now): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lTLlaMY_9PM

The single dirtiest play of the modern NFL era. Watching his teammates high five and congratulate him afterwards is enough to elevate my blood pressure all these years later...

Kinda besides the point, but could you imagine the outrage today if Shea's hit on Rodgers came after the ball was thrown and not on a clean sack? The wave of hypocrisy flowing down from Wisconsin would inundate the entire Midwest.

I don't want to see anybody hurt but we sure have had our share of QB injuries.

Absolutely, the dirtiest play ever and you know it was on purpose and calculated. Runner up to the dirtiest plays would be the Packers again with a very late hit on Walter Payton.

Up until recently I'd agree with you, but the Bears have finally started to be run, not like a Mom and Pop operation. They have finally begun to act like the big city franchise they are.

Folks have had it wrong in the past with the Packers/Bears rivalry, it's saying small town vs. big city, since it was the Bears that wouldn't spend any dough on players because it was all the Halas' had, they were small time, but the Packers who could spend, and always did, because of the way the team is owned.
