Good win, but two lingering concerns...
Nice bounce-back effort from Cal today against the Cougs as I wrote in my column, but two troubling issues continue to pop up again and again:
-The Bears had 19 turnovers, 10 of which came from the big men (Thurman, Kravish, Bak, and Solomon). They continue to fumble away balls down low, which is probably costing the team 8-10 points per game. On nights when Cobbs and/or Crabbe aren't shooting well, those buckets could be the difference between winning and losing.
-The Bears gave up 21 offensive rebounds, the 13th game this season in which they have surrendered at least 11 offensive rebounds. If you have any ideas on how to fix that, I'm sure Monty would gladly hear them at this point.

Good points, but while effort and coaching may make up for some deficiencies, if Cal doesn't have the talent under the basket, all that other stuff is only going to provide marginal improvement.
