Are you going based on "recruiting stars"?

Or are you using Tedford's performance as a head coach to benchmark "mediocre"?
Tedford beat out San Jose St. for two star Drew

All kidding aside; Drew and Combs are both good players, Combs played in the SF game, so do you get invited to that for being "mediocre". Hmmm ... maybe Scout isn't the end all/be all in evaluating H.S. kids to peddle a product to you on the paid site... just a thought.
But your bitterness that spills from your post aside:
UCLA has a fantastic class, (assuming it holds on LOI day, which is an assumption for all schools):
UCLA: Best DT signing with a California BCS school and with XSF back from his mission "added" to this class, one of the best O line classes in the conference.
Probably best overall Defensive class taken in conference this season.
I understand you you are a bear and wish the other BCS schools in the state were down, but stating that UCLA has a "mediocre class" makes you look silly.
12 UCLA commits have offers from Oregon - USC - Cal - Stanford in addition to UCLA.
I guess Oregon/USC/UCLA/Cal/Stanford are all competing for "mediocre" players?
GoBears58 wrote: much of your class is still mediocre. Granted you have adams, McCarthy (we have Moala from last years' class), Porter ( we have Barton) but you still have dildo jr and a lot of guys that are not even in the top 40 at their position. Mora will probably back stab more kids and jettison more of your 2 and 3* but we shall see.
If we keepTreggs, Shaq, and Armstead then all is fine still. We have enough depth on the DL (moala, coleman, Jalil, Gabe King, Todd Barr) to survive Trash Lupaids' treachery. Meanwhile the recruits that you flipped from us in the past (Marsh, Carroll, Statue Stan Hasiak) are all loser head cases and haven't done jack.
