So Long Chip Kelly...

So Long Chip Kelly...

...just another coach to split CFB before those NCAA sanctions drop.  Post-season bans?  Recruiting stiffled?  Vacated wins?

You don't have to be a troll to see the writing on the wall.  On the other hand, if you are in the position to have multiple teams competing for your services, the time is especially right given all of the variables.

Yeah, I've posted 264 times since 2008 for this very moment.  News flash:  some people think that cheating is bad.  The only thing bad about any sanctions are that they are taking so long.

Too bad he announced today that Phil Knight is paying him another $5M under the table so he's coming back.  Sounds like both the Browns and Eagles offered him the job but he said no.

Chip isn't going away anytime soon.  I can't believe you would quote Bleacher report, you do realize that anyone with access to a computer can write for them.  Even 14 yr. old girls like you.

Card probably isn't too far off on this one.  Or Uncle Phil promised to fix the NCAA thing for him is he stayed.  Can't say either Philly or Cleveland are exactly plum jobs.  That might have been the deciding factor.

If he had the power to, wouldn't Uncle Phil have "fixed the NCAA thing" a long time ago?  rolleyes

Speaking of butthurt....you DO realize that dozens of news outlets carried the story, right?  Not that it was the only item I cited.  But that's the Oregon way; anything critical of UO is bogus (including the NCAA).

Can't wait for those sanctions!  Can't believe Chipster is sticking around for it!

The reason you can't believe "Chipster is stcking around for it!" is because you have absolutely no clue about what is going on.  And of course, you don't know anything about Chip Kelly either.

Compare Chip Kelly to UW legend Don James ...

Don James quits on his team right before the season rather than face the consequences of his own program's lack of over-sight with boosters.

Chip Kelly turns down millions and a professional move to the NFL to stay at Oregon knowing that the NCAA will be handing down penalties soon.

Your petty jealously is showing so much it is embarassing.  Bark for Sark ... 7-6

Not necessarily.  If the NCAA backed off now, it would leave the impression that the fix was absolutely in.  Doesn't mean that Phil hasn't been in someone's ear about this and isn't trying to sway the decision in some way.  Outside of the TV networks, who spends (and makes) more money in college sports these days?  Give you one guess.....

Or the money and particular teams weren't worth it at this time.  Again, Cleveland isn't the garden spot of the NFL.

It's hard to know a lot about Kelly.  Good football coach, lousy interview.  Needs to keep his recruiting stories straight and not look the other way until he no longer needs the players in question.

Adam Schefter and Rich Eisen don't know Chippopotamus' next move but you do.  You're a total clown.  Anything that criticizes UO is wrong and "jealous."  Typical arrogant cluck.

Check back after the sanctions. biggrin

So, I take it you see yourself as a real humble guy?

Your posts are displays of envy and hatred, nothing more. I know it, you know it, and everyone else here does too. That's not to say that you would admit to it or that anyone that thinks like you would either, but it's the truth and we all know it.

The real reason Oregon' rivals hope for sanctions has nothing to do with what's right or fair, it's just the only thing they can imagine that might help them to be a little more competitive.

How's that for humility?

You got me.  Humble would be if I were a fan of the #2 ranked CFB team in the nation trolling the board of the #9 ranked team in the conference, accusing critics there of being hateful and envious.

Your team has achieved so much but the critics still make you so angry.  I can almost see your little fists all balled up.  "How dare they talk bad about Chip or Uncle Phil or all those uniform combinations or the arrests of team members or cheating or...!?"

Define "soon."  Dullard.  Green85 and all you clucks are geniuses.

Act 2 in this comedy will be when the NCAA shows up in Eugene and Chippopotomus is far, far away.
