Latest on Spencer Hagan

Talked with his father today, and Hagan's "destroyed" knee (the word Tedford used after the USC game this season) is far ahead of schedule. Hagan has full range of motion and no pain at all. He still has a ways to go to get his speed and strength back, but it is looking very possible now after he was given only a 50/50 chance of ever playing football again during his pre-surgery meeting. During his recovery, he and Stefan McClure -- who underwent largely the same procedure -- really bonded and have helped one another get through the rough patches.

Thanks. This is the type of "news" that has been missing from this board.

Hagan's knee was "destroyed" at tOSU, or did Tedford actually say that after the SC game after getting a full assessment of the knee (a week later)?  Regardless, great news on the progress thus far.

It was actually destroyed at the tOSU game, but Tedford made that assessment after the USC game, once all the facts were in and the swelling was down.

Speaking of which, how is McClure's progress thus far?  If they went through the same procedure it would be encouraging to hear if/when McClure expects to be fully healed and ready to get back on the field.  Can we expect to see him Spring football?
