Re: This year and next year

I hate to say so but of the incumbents listed, Garrett Johnson's PT figures to be the most adversely impacted. The ugly (for him) fact is that we were already overstocked at the 2, Marvelle looks hugely interesting at the position, and neither of the two departing players (Shepp and Wills, obviously) logged one second at the 2 last year.

Garrett is going to have to be one of Tark's "4 cheerleaders" or he might as well transfer to FPU now.

Fig I have to agree about PT for Garrett Johnson. I will say that CRT has said he wants to be a full court press team so that would require going much deeper with the players.. GJ was the one player I thought did not show great improvement from last year. I do think it took him some time to grasp the new system and he played better at the end of the year. GJ appears to be a great kid so I think he stays and works hard to get better. Competition would be a great thing for once.

T.J. has been told to expect 17 minutes a game next year and Brown was told to expect 12.

Not buying this unless coaches are telling players to consider transferring...

Especially Brown. I didn't want to say anything but particularly with pressure D it seems like he is worth way more than 12 mins/game. Should be getting minutes at both 3 and 4. The way-too-early projection (and yes, I personally would like to see Olekaibe's PT go down a bit for TJ's sake and for Harris' development -- also I think we'll see a lot of three guard lineup):

B. Anderson 34
Foster 32
Olekaibe 30
Huddleston 28
Brown 24
TJ 20
Harris 16
Caucasian frosh big 10
A. Anderson 4
G. Johnson 3
Hefeng 1
