I saw him play last night I like his game. They started him at center and then Memorial got out to a big lead and they moved him to point guard. Thats when he really flourished and brought back Tulare within four points before eventually losing to Memorial. I can see him playing small forward or the two guard at the next level.

How seriously is he considering FSU?
For decades the G.O.P. has won elections by appealing to social and racial divisions, only to turn after each victory to deregulation and tax cuts for the wealthy...

Haven't heard.  Be nice if he is serious, though.

Watched him play last night as well. Tulare got off to an awful start, but Vernon definitely carried the team and nearly brought them back. He looks like a natural scorer with a very good jump shot. He made some shots most players have no business even taking. BTW I was not very impressed with Robert Upshaw. He was being guarded by Vernon (6-foot-5) and failed to back him down, rather trying to finesse it in the post. He did have some monster dunks and got to the free-throw line real easily.

Tulare Union junior Keonta Vernon was among the 6,110 at the Save Mart Center on Saturday to watch Fresno State in its 65-46 loss to Cal Poly.

Vernon, a versatile 6-foot-6 wing, has been taking unofficial visits to schools in California. He has been to Cal, San Francisco, St. Mary's, Cal Poly and now Fresno State. He also is receiving recruiting attention from North Carolina State, Boise State and Santa Clara, Coach Mark Hatton said.

Vernon has been playing at the four and five this season. But, Hatton said, he likely will play point guard next season for Tulare Union, which will lose six seniors.

In college, Vernon projects as a shooting guard or a small forward.

I am currently going to school - or more appropriately - trying to finish school.   About a year ago I got the bug and determination to finish a  B.S. degree in something relevant and so I enrolled at FCC to start taking classes.  As of this latest semester I have been in FCC's 25-month Business Administration Program.  So now with night classes and more homework my free time has dwindled.  I am also trying to self-learn Spanish (another finishing task) and I have just begun self-studying calculus as well in my down times from class.

I guess I am just going through my "Enlightenment" phase!

Anyhow, I will be seeing Alex this weekend and maybe his bro as well (if they still aren't in Vegas) so I will see if they know anything about players.
