C Louis next Devante Adams

C Louis next Devante Adams

Dude is freak at 6'6 280 DE. I think he breaks through the scene and dominants the mountain west and opens nfl scouts eyes.... I'm really excited about this kid. Dline will be a strength. Teams like USC won't push around this dline this year!

Give us the basis for your excitement.  Reports?  Articles?  Conversations with CTD or coach Schramm?  Epiphanies from the Good Lord above?  What?  Spill!

these 2 play 2 differnet positions. i would be expecting him to be more like burley from the past, like Burley, mcintyre,Brian Morris, guys that could get the qb.

I'm not as excited about him. I'd be surprised if he ever started.

Go back and look at the actual game instead of falling prey to the standard template. Our DL played pretty well in that game. We lost that game with our pass D and our inability to sustain a running game in absence of a healthy DC2.

Wait...they moved Claudell to WR? That's gonna set up some mismatches!

Re: C Louis next Devante Adams

Yeah, sort of a confusing topic equating a DE with a WR. Maybe he meant in terms of a recruit flying under the radar of the Pac 12. And Louis was either injured, or quiet during the spring game. Hunt and Madsen made more noise.

I think Nate Madsen will be tearing it up too.  Not as tall, but big and strong.

He sat out last year. You'll hear about him this year. One of th fastest and strongest D-line guys we have.
Just needs to adjust to the D1 game

Jerrin McClendon, 6-8 260 lb beast. I think he breaks through and dominate the way Davante did also.

I would hope they use him more like they did jensen back in 2012, big redzone target, going to miss that this year w/davante gone. that fade was deadly.

FWIW Claudell Louis is listed on the official roster at 6-foot-4. He doesn't have much football experience, but tremendous upside with his length. Nearly went to BYU though they saw him as an offensive tackle rather than a DE.

If Connette can throw it, Harper can catch the fade as well.

With new qb there wont be need to throw in redzone. We shall see....

I have not seen him, does he have soft hands like Marcel? And how does the big guy move, how fast is he?? that is a big key.
