Wicks is visiting U.of Washington this weekend. That MIGHT explain Coleman's visit to Fresno State.

RE: Hold your horses! Coleman and Wicks back on the market?
There are going to be some recruits who run out of musical chairs. It happens every year for some.
I remember talking to Marcus Riley's parents about the recruiting process. They told Marcus to have his recruiting fact-finding during his Junior year. Their advice was to know where he was going and enjoy his senior year in high school without having to make a rash decision at the end. I have always thought it was great advice.

Do we really want Coleman? You know he is committed to UW
Some of you guys were pretty hard on ZG for doing the same thing.

I do. I wasn't hard on Greenlee for taking a visit. Scout automatically changed his status. Not his fault

Some of you guys were pretty hard on ZG for doing the same thing. I am hard on ZG because he is in a leadership position and is expected to be different than the rest of the pack. It is why I will be all over his azz to prove he is more than just a flake. Because right now he is a flake. .....now Greenlee prove it otherwise.

Come on Fang, the kid received an offer from a SEC school and wanted to check it out. And he is not in a leadership position, he is making the biggest decision that could change the rest of his life. Give the KID a break man.... Fangdog wrote:

Re: Hold your horses! Coleman and Wicks back on the market?
Agree, he is making what could be the biggest decision of his young life. He is a player that flew under the radar and shows big at a major camp and is thrown onto the radar of larger schools. Similar to Kaepernicks rise from Nevada to the 49'ers and onto the media radar. Can't possibly fault a high school kid for checking things out, that is one thing and he would be a fool not to. But you have to give him a hell of a lot of credit for sticking with his commitment. Not many of his caliber do when it comes to a mid-major vs. a SEC team.

Kap no body wanted including the greatest recruiter since white bread Pat Hill. I don't have to give Greenlee one damn thing, but I will give him the opportunity to prove he is worth a chit and you as well as I don't know yet.

He's just a kid and I agree, he should take any trip he wants to as a Frosh being recruited by name schools. it's a thrill to be wanted. Once he signs LOI, then he is committed to that school. Until then, he should have flexibility to go visit any school he wants at school's expense. Also, he doesn't have to prove anything to me or you. Just to the coaches who decides if he plays and how much.
