I'm keeping my fingers crossed, but none yet.

Nice, can't wait to see the unveiling of the uniforms.  Hopefully one day we will get a dark navy color alternate uniform.

Bataller said on twitter that nothing is finalized yet and they're still throwing ideas around.

It sounded like for unis. Looks like they are changing too.

Takata just said he talked to Toth and Motta tonight and it seems like its a done deal.

This sounds exciting. I'm liking the different uniforms idea. They will look good whipping that arse out there!

In this day and age, it is a tremendous recruiting tool.

Kids like to look cool on the field.

I can understand the desire to stay traditional, however, even some of the most storied football programs with way more tradition than Fresno State, are not immune from changing it up. Even Notre Dame has made some big changes in recent years.

Thankfully, CTD is open to change with the uniforms, and I think that will only help recruiting.

So what are we now? The loser Aztecs? Black is not our color. Are we now flying the stars and stripes in red white and black. Ridiculous.

What the f happened to blue?

It's the kind of thing you have to do for recruiting..

I say we use them Sat., Oct 26. If we have a home game that day. make it a Halloween theme and encourage fans to dress up. cheer will be at gates giving out tickets to most creative who will then go to mid field at halftime for contest with winner selected by applause. To the winner.....family four pack season tickets for 2014. Hopefully its on ESPN. Haha

I'd like to see them with some solid blue uniforms, but I like that they are changing things up a bit. I don't think I will mind the black.

I hope they are creative where the black is not used only one time. Hopefully they rework the red too where it blends in with the black. So, a home red top with black pant and black helmet is doable. The way Boise did it.

17 year olds think this kinda stuff is awesome.

Now it's less of a recruiting tool and more of a "keeping up with the the Jones'" situation. More and more schools that Fresno recruits against such as Boise, Arizona, Utah, and Colorado are donning new helmets and jerseys.

Nor is it a color of dozens of teams who have "black out" games. Boise, ASU, Louisville, BYU, Nebraska, Oregon, Maryland, Rutgers, Va Tech to name a few.

All sounds good, except what is with the BLACK?  Where did this come from?  Might look fierce, etc., but stick to the school colors and do variations off of that.

I’m all for it. All Blue would be pretty sick, but Black unis are popular with the kids these days. It’s about the kids when its all said and done.

My hope here is that Fresno State does a better job of unveiling the uniforms and actually markets them via professional photos and not regular cell phone camera pics like they did more recently.

I say get them on display for spring game. Give fans another reason to go.

not a bad idea.  black squad vs white squad.

I'm interested to see the new unis. Looking at the pic of the white helmet and it looks nice, so hopefully the rest of it works as well.

My larger concern is hopefully the red is RED again and not that odd pinkish red color the current unis look like they are in pics.
