I don't complain about refs much but those two 3rd period penalty calls were BS. First one was a penalty shot. That 2nd should have had a second penalty called for that cheap shot on trouba. The boys played better. Dam goalies how do you give up that 5th goal like we did. JUNK

Much better effort by the team tonight but the goalie situation is abysmal.

Yep it is on tv. Directv 664. Very happy with the effort. I can't handle losing but when I see this effort I can live with it. The 5-1 loses to BG and quitting unacceptable. This team is a team if it gets it together could be dangerous. The GOALIE play must get better now. Does anyone follow recruiting? What do we have coming in? What website do you look at for that? I hope we have a top rated goalie I just do not know if these two can hack it. That third period goal was horrific.

Overall last night I was happy the boys played a lot better. When they got down they fought and did not quit. Keep it up boys they will start to win.

Go to michiganhockey.net and there's a tab titled "recruits", click on it and there should be a list of 2013 recruits. Looks like a solid class. Allen, Compher and Motte are all US U-18 team, all forwards. Downing is a respected defenseman I believe. A couple other blue liners too. No goalies as we've already got two on schollie that are freshman. We'll just have to hope a year of experience helps both.

Totally blown away that this program is so poor between the pipes!!!
Not even sure what to say hate to put it all on the goalies cause our forwards can't put the damn puck in the net..
But I heard during the BG game that UM is last in the nation allowing over 3.5 gpg?? That's just inexcusable IMO

"Its about the TEAM the TEAM the TEAM"

Ah man it's getting worse. I never thought I would say this but we are the worse team in the CCHA. We blame a lot on the goalie but our puck passing is bad. The tone of the game started right away when merrill had a TO. it led to UAF controlling the zone and eventually getting a PP and then a PPG. We are selfish in our zone on scoring chances. When we clear the zone it finds a UAF stick for a 3-2. A lot mistakes this team makes. This team is bad no two ways to slice it. We are a team but we do not skate as one we skate as individuals.

We have played 14 home games. YOST is our house teams use to fret YOST. I get what bacon had to say that all great programs stumble but we can't beat anyone right now. Great programs still beat BG and UAF as well as the under 18 team. Things are bad for Michigans ice hockey team. I worry that next year will be just as rough because those players that are good I do not see returning.

The game atmosphere is awesome at Yost. When I went to yost that is what I fell in love with. 6900 or so of your closes friends and the band. I would prefer to go to an ice hockey games over football games. People call me crazy but I feel the atmosphere at Yost is phenomenal and these are the fans who love the University of Michigan. Most fans you talk to only talk football and now basketball at the big house but the ones I meet at Yost talk volleyball, swimming, softball and whatever else about Michigan.

I know I get pissed off when we lose but I love Michigan. I hate losing. I envy everyone in Ann Arbor or anyone who lives remotely close to Ann Arbor. I would be at every Michigan sporting event. I would probably be divorced but I love hearing the victors and cheering on those who represent Michigan. Friday night I had the wrestling match on TV and my iPhone on the hockey. Drove my wife mad because I was jumping up and down for both. Lol

Swimming is # 1 and women's b-ball is 14-2 no to bad.

Brandon demands champions in all sports so I have no doubt we will be winning again in Hockey regardless of what moves need to be made.
