And they aren't even the #1 class in college FB.

Hard to compete with these schools year in and year out when every recruiting class is this good.

Yea, to a certain degree.

They all will still have some of the same problems as us with busts and kids who don't make it or get in trouble. Combine that with how variable some of these rankings can be and most of the top classes either aren't as good or are better than what they're ranked. 

Despite 3 top five classes and one top 10 class in the last four years we beat Texas at their place last year and they haven't been good in general for a while. 

Honestly I look at it like as almost a positive. As a WVU fan I feel like I will always have pleasant surprises to look forward to when the season starts and less known 3*, 2*, and NR prospects step up and show us that they can be solid contributors or even great players. 

As a fan of those schools it's gotta be an endless cycle of disappointment in some cases. Sure they'll get plenty of studs with guys like Jeffcoat and Okafor, but then they also get tons of guys like Mike Davis who despite being the #3 WR nationally in the 2010 class, just finished his junior season with career highs of 939 yards, and 7 TDs. He may yet have a great season next year and go to the NFL, but I'd still kinda hope for a little more than one great season as a SR if we got a guy who was that highly rated. 

Their roster FULL of players who were rated 4* or higher who never panned out. How could you even get that excited about big commits like that?

Alabama is what you get when great recruits meet great coaching.

One of the problems with the star system is that kids recruited by ND are almost all, by definition, 4 and 5 star recruits just based on the fact that ND offered them. So it's a little misleading. Some of them absolutely deserve the high rating, but many others do not -- ND only had 4 players drafted last year (two 1st rounders and two 5th rounders), which is solid but doesn't exactly scream "we're absolutely loaded with much more talent than other schools." 

I get more impressed by UA and USC classes. USCs class average is 4.4!

Thought it was a fake BOY girl friend?

Who wouldn't want to go to ND; they...

1) allow you to get multiple DUIs without losing any playing time
2) Be drunker than a monkey in public, take a swing at a cop, & don't miss a snap.
3) Protect you so you can rape other students.  Even enlist teammate to threaten anyone who may come forward.
4) and help you hide lies about an imaginary girlfriend to the entire Country.
