ECU will finally get their wish 


Big East member starting in 2014.  Hell, will the Big East be around in 6 months much less two years.........noidea

"The addition of Tulane and East Carolina will give the Big East 13 football members in 2014 -- UConn, Louisville, South Florida, Cincinnati, Tulane, Temple, Boise State, San Diego State, UCF, SMU, Memphis, Houston and ECU.

Of those 13 schools, nine are former members of Conference USA, two are former Mountain West members and one is a former Mid-American Conference member."

So happy were out of that !

UConn will be in the ACC when Maryland leaves...and what are the odds that SDSU and Boise ever play in the BE - I'd say it's highly unlikely. In fact, Houston and SMU might (and probably should) think about staying in CUSA as well.

Qualification Form for Big East Membership

1.   Do you have about 60 or 70 guys (or girls) that dress up in football uni's and act like they play what is commonly called "American football"???   yes ____  no ____

2.  Do you have the word "College" or "University" in your name?   yes ____ no ____


If answering yes to all of the above, welcome to the Big East!!

If answering "no" to any or all of the above....... well................... welcome to the Big East anyway!
