When did the hunt take place? I thought this all happened before the Baylor game, which was early bear season, when there was no concurrent deer firearms season?
EDIT: Just watched the video. It was definitely not early season, judging by the lack of leaves on the trees. So what was the deal back before the Baylor game?

they would have to prove that he didn't have it on. and that would be hard pressed to prove. he could easily say that he had it on but took it off for the picture.

video has been removed. unless they saved it. the video could easily get destroyed and then what? they have no in their hand evidence.

The DNR can write a citation but he has a right to contest it in court. I would say I want a jury trial, what evidence would they show. I am willing to bet they have nothing that could convict.
