WVU and Marshall will play a three game series this spring in baseball. Each game will be played at a different venue in WV. Hawley Field, Beckley, and Charleston will host the three games with Beckley being the only one as of now that has a definite date of May 14th. 

First time the teams have played since 2008 in a Coastal Carolina tourney, and the first time since 1998 the two teams have played during the year.

Anyone know how good Marshall is in baseball???

Marshall was pretty weak last year but it was two or three years ago they made the finals of the Conference USA tournament.
They play Rice, Southern Miss and other good teams every year so they won't be impressed by us. Should be a competitive series.

Good to see at least ONE baseball game played at Hawley Field this year.

Probably a little better than us.......just guessing though.
