Go Eers! acha. the ncaa hockey league is a lot like basketball. 3 divisions, with divisions 1 being more "prominent" than 2, and so on. acha is below that, made up of club teams from the north-east all the way out to arizona. the ncaa is very clear about what they allow regarding seating capacity and sadly, even if WVU wanted to join the ranks of the ncaa (it would take a LOT of money. psu is making the jump very soon and they had to build a 90 million dollar facility), the morgantown municipal ice rink (white park) just does not even come close.

They announced this morning that there are still a few tickets available. My wife and I have ours. Don't know if that will push you over the edge or not, but tickets are selling. eternalYouth wrote:

The guy I spoke with at the arena said that tickets were selling very well and they were close to a sellout. eternalYouth wrote:

Good game with a good crowd. Ohio won 4-2. WVU looked like they got gassed in the last half of the third and took a couple of early penalties at the start of the third period that Ohio capitalized on.

cult, i just saw this on the WVU hockey facebook page regarding jerseys. thought youd be interested.
"Garry, you can buy a jersey at the home games. The team is also working to have jerseys on 1wvushop.com"
i dont ever remember seeing them for sale anywhere, but ill definitely ask around this friday when i go to the game.

Re: WVU Hockey Schedule Released for 2012-2013
Jerseys are on sale now. $110 + $10 for shipping. You buy the ACTUAL jerseys (not replicas) worn by our guys on the ice. Very cool, and a great price for authentic jersey material. They have sizes L and XL available in numbers 1-31. This is the home jersey: Here's the road jersey: Photos were sent to me by the team. I think they look incredible, personally! Ordering a home one soon. Email Terry Jarrett (team general manager) for info on ordering (check or CC accepted) at tjarrett@wvuhockey.orgI don't work for the team and live hours away from Morgantown, but I love hockey and WVU, so I promote where I can

the old ones were better, i think. they had the flying WV emroidered and it was actual material instead of screen-printed. these do look good, though.

Re: WVU Hockey Schedule Released for 2012-2013
A home jersey should be in my hands mid-week. When I win the big money Wednesday in the lottery, WVU will have a first class hockey program with a nice 4,000 seat arena to play in It's nice to have goals, after all
