Had alcohol and depression problems through life, but I though once he made it past 40 he'd be a bit less likely.

Its a shame. He had some good movies. And he was a pretty good comedian. RIP.

Obviously he was stealing to support his pot addiction to self-medicate his depression.

Re: RIP Robin Williams

I also assumed he had turned the corner on depression and was coping reasonably well.

His recent comedy tour was very successful.

Will never forget his roles in "Good Morning, Vietnam," "Mrs. Doubtfire," and "Good Will Hunting," among others.

edit: on a side note he was good friends with Lance Armstrong, and often attended the Tour, occasionally boarding the team bus and cheering up the riders.

My favorite was Patch Adams.

My favorite stand up was him telling about "Tommy Christ" Jesus' brother.

Now that I think about it there was always a deep sadness about him, at least in his eyes.

Really enjoyed his work from Mork to stand up to movies.

Very talented guy.

He shouldn't have taken Holgorsen's gaff that seriously.

Don't worry.

They'll be here soon enough.

Good Morning Vietnam alone is stunningly brilliant.
