A word to the wise ain't necessary -- it's the stupid ones that need the advice.

Offered isn't the same as taking it. Probably gonna be hard to outspend T Boone.

Re: Gundy offered Tenn job
Gundy is making a $3.2 million. I'm not sure if Dooley was making much over $2 million. Okie State will pay up for whom ever they want. I think if Gundy leaves then Okie goes after a big hire, bigger than DH in my opinion. Maybe it was a good thing that we flat lined this year. If we were in the top 10 right now then DH stock would be soaring.

Re: Gundy offered Tenn job
Bruce Feldman @ BFeldmanCBSTennessee has offered the Vols head coaching job to Mike Gundy, a source told CBS this morning.
Clay Travis @ ClayTravisBGID vols coaching search getting wild, mike gundy officially on the clock per @ BFeldmanCBS. Heard he was favored over Strong.
Clay Travis @ ClayTravisBGID i've always thought gundy wouldn't leave oklahoma state, but i guess now we'll find out. would be big coup for vols.
Clay Travis @ ClayTravisBGID Risk here is if Gundy says no, will Strong walk knowing he's second option?

RE: Gundy offered Tenn job
Tennessee is not the job it was 10 years ago. Gundy would be dumb to take it.

Re: Gundy offered Tenn job
Reports coming out now that Gundy turned them down, Strong will either be made a rich man by Louisville, or the newest SEC coach by the looks of it.
