Chryst the "club house leader" for the Wisconsin job
Rant Sports quote from today : "The popular Internet buzz along these lines– at least today– lies with current Pittsburgh Panthers head coach Paul Chryst, who spent 2006-2011 with the Badgers as the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach. Chryst is in the clubhouse as the favorite given these ties, but will they be enough for a Wisconsin administration that has a huge decision on their hands?" Read more at www.rantsports.com/ncaa-footba...tlORZitY2PPS.99 This could get very interesting , they been spot on recently with exception of Arkansas

From twitter:
Pitt coach Paul Chryst issues statement, here in full: “I understand the speculation surrounding my name given today’s developments. I am committed to the Pitt football program and the University of Pittsburgh. I am focusing all my time and energy on our team’s bowl game preparation and recruiting a great group of young men to join our program and this outstanding university. We are working hard every day to re-establish this program and I am excited about the future of Pitt football.” Read more at the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review › 13 minutes ago

If Wisc. opens up the pocket book he's as good as gone. He'd be stupid not to take the job, however I don't feel he is anywhere qualified for it.

He's from there, coached there, has family there and he probably wouldn't be looking for the "next big thing".

Re: Chryst the "club house leader" for the Wisconsin
http://www.jsonline.com/sports...-182283971.htmlThis was posted 4 hours ago. If he is their #1 choice and they aren't worried about the $6 million buyout I'd say he's as good as good if they make the offer. Peterson has reportedly already said no so that's another candidate off the board. If Alvarez wants him that bad they will get him.
