Herrington Brothers: Every California School will be Courting

These Herrington Brothers have been producing for decades to Hart and Alemany. With the departure of Principal Frank Ferry, the bidding war begins!

Dean is one of the 3 best coaches in Southern California he would draw plenty of interest.

Re: Herrington Brothers: Every California School will be

If Dean was so loyal to Ferry why did he apply for all those other jobs over the last 3-4 years?
Is this a way of leveraging more out of Alemany like they have done in the past?
Who is this new fiirst time poster that is promoting for the Herringtons?
This is very poor timing to start up with this drama the first week of the season. Couldnt it wait? What can his players think at this point?
Herrington has not come out to dispute it and nobody from Alemany has a thing to say about it. noidea
I know that there are plenty of Herrington cronies that post on this site, FB2000, Foothillmagic, Bulldogpride are all  personal friends of Herrington. His little golf buddies.
Why wouldnt they chime in on this topic?
Oh yeah, they would rather talk about the more important Nadefan. LOL eek1

Alemany players and families, get a clue and realize that the Herringtons are all about $$$$. They dontt give a crap about you, you're  pawns in their little game. Who is gonna coach you guys next season?

I hear Mayberry HS is hiring a head coach/deputy.
Nobody around here is hiring so lets all say goodbye to the Herringtons.

Re: Herrington Brothers: Every California School will be

Hey fatass lamefan, this topic is a non-starter. Ferry left a while back ( www.alemany.org/apps/news/show...ID=388314&id=12 ) and Chambers is doing just great. He was fantastic at the BBQ Saturday and will continue to lead and support the Alemany family in his own way.

You could have used your weekly call from rehab/jail for something other than the above pathetic rant. Seriously...from the smurf land of mercenaries, you question $ and loyalty?? Weakass, baseless drivel.

Get back on your meds...Football season is starting! See you 10/03

I didn't feel the need to comment because this is a rumor on a HS football forum LOL
There is no basis for this rumor that I know of.
I don't golf with the Herringtons and I certainly don't know them enough to call any of them a personal friend.
Mike has coached at Hart (a public school.. not exactly raking in the money) for 20+ years and he is one of the best coaches in California.. I don't think he is all about the "$$$$" otherwise he would be coaching Nade and recruiting mercenaries all the way from Canada.
I know you wish this were true because you wouldn't have to worry about Alemany knocking nade off their pedestal every year in the new mission haha

oh and i didnt comment on you being gone from the board for a couple days because I DONT GIVE A FVCK IF YOU POST HERE OR NOT.

Get over yourself, bro.

We now know you are even more clueless than Foothillmagic.

Anyone with  some real information on this feel free to chime in.

Is it true? Im sure the Alemany kids would like  to know.

Re: Herrington Brothers: Every California School will be

Herrington is going nowhere! Although after seeing the scrimmage Nade against Narbonne I understand why you would want him to.
Do your research the new principle at Alemany is top notch. From what I heard even Ferry was a fan.
Next topic Nadefan! Maybe your break down of the scrimmage against Narbonne? How many pics did your QB throw? What was the score? How many fumbles did Nade have?
Let's talk football not Nade fantasy!

You clearly dont know "shat" either thats why your dumbass is broadcasting this question out to everyone on this board because...

a) You dont know "shat"

b) You know you cant run from that yearly ass whooping at the hands of the Herringtons

I never claimed to know any insider info at Alemany but your dumbass claimed I was a Herrington cronie and a golfing bud of them hahaha you are an idiot constantly talking out your ass.

I do know you are Croson's fluffer but that is besides the point on this thread.

Re: Herrington Brothers: Every California School will be

Dean Herrington applied at Loyola in 2005 before he even arrived at Alemany. Steve Grady was retiring and Loyola passed on Dean and went with Jeff Kearin who was a Loyola graduate, former Loyola assistant coach in the 80's, and USC assistant in the early 90's.

Dean Herrington replaced Ted Corcoran at Alemany in 2006 thanks to new Alemany principle Frank Ferry and his persistency. Ferry was the former principle at Saugus and initially tried to recruit the entire Herrington clan starting with Mike Herrington. Mike turned down repeated offers that were rumored to be more then twice his salary. Dean was interested and turned the program around in a big hurry.

What about the rumor that Croson personally approved 3 Chaminade alumni to offer scholarships, housing, and free transportation to multiple low-income football stars from Los Angeles? Or the rumor that Croson covered up a potential steroid scandal within his program over the summer?

There are plenty of rumors in high school football, and Chaminade is not immune to them anymore then Alemany is.

You tell me, I dont care what the record is. Its a new year coach, you should know this. What happened in the past means nothing now. You are only as good as your last game. If I were you I would focus on getting your team ready and get off the message boards. Maybe go build up your little bird legs while your at it.

Re: Herrington Brothers: Every California School will be

Yes, Loyola did pass on Dean Herrington, if you want to call it that. One initial phone call when the job opened up in April of 2005, was as far as Dean got with Loyola. No face to face meeting, or physical interview with the selection committee.

Like I said, I wouldn't call that an "interview for the Loyola job". But, he did show interest in the vacancy.

Then again, hundreds of coaches from across the country showed interest, including high profile college coordinators. Loyola is a high profile job, on par with college coordinator jobs, and the salary is competitive with those positions.

What coach wouldn't be interested in that job?

Really?  Why waste my time responding to your ridiculous BS stories.  What was behind this latest lie.  I'm guessing you were trying to deflect the bad PR that you knew Croson would get for whining to get out the Yom Kippur day game.  I heard he was willing to take just take an "L" if the game wasn't changed.  Lol,  anything to avoid the public humiliation that Alemany puts Nade through when they play.  Let's be honest... those two kids weren't going to make a difference and those on the Nade staff know it.  Nade is going to get spanked Thursday or Friday, without or without the jewish boys..

Croson better hope that he keeps it close early because it will get ugly, just like the last three beatdowns that Alemany has delivered to Chaminade.  Remember Coach Croson trying to run out the clock out, early in the third quarter , down 3 touchdowns, in Nade's last trip to Alemany.  That was embarrasing to see a Coach giving up on his team like that.  I get it a little... Alemany would have won that game by 40 points had he not thrown in the towel so early.   That was a fun night though.  I won't ever forget the vision of Coach Croson curled up in the fetal position in his car, while his assistant coaches paraded one by one off the bus, and back inside to clean up the damage he left in the visiting locker room... Coach wouldn't even get out and help.    LMAO, those were good times back in the hey day of the rivalry biggrin
