Hart @ Chino Hills Prediction

Hart @ Chino Hills Prediction

I see Hart losing by 20. No defense, new running back, and only 2 good offensive players. Anyone else have a prediction?

What ?!  Please tell us How you think Chino Hills Will Beat Hart by 20. eek1
At first glance I would say Hart by 20.
Chino Hills is a pretty Good Team But, they Lost to Damien (5-5) last Year and went 7-4
There JV Team went 5-5 last year.
Hart has Great Coaches and has Lots of Talent coming up from a Great  JV Team
that went 9-1 to Fill some Key Spots on the Line.
I will let the Hart Folks take it from here. cool

Re: Hart @ Chino Hills Prediction

You IE turds always think way too highly of your local teams (besides CC and VM who deserve hype year in and year out) and always disregard anyone besides the some of the Pac 5 teams.
I am sure Hart will start slow because they lost a lot of their D and many weapons on the offensive side of the ball
But.. this team will be plenty deep with solid guys on both sides of the ball. Maybe not as many of the big names as last year but there will be a handful of guys that will be making a name for themselves this year.
We will see how Hart looks on all levels today at the Alemany scrimmages.
What is coming back at CH that makes you so confident? lol

Re: Hart @ Chino Hills Prediction

Chino hills always plays well early because they play fast and there coach is a good offensive coach . LAter in the defenses improve, game slows down and they can't play a more physical grind it out type of game ,look for a high scoring game .Hart by 7 .

Re: Hart @ Chino Hills Prediction

they lost several games last year in the 3rd and 4th quarters.. They return a decent running back.. Harts defense should be fine if they find a way to shore up the D-Line.. If Chaminade ran the ball every play I think they win.

Anyone else smell an IE homer? Geez.

Rule number one in SoCal high school football...never bet against the likes of LB Poly, Mater Dei, Mission Viejo (at the lower levels) and Hart.

Hart by 14-20 pts.

No homer here..... I actually live in the scv. Chino Hills has a better o - line, d-line and better athletes. White will throw picks and Irwin can't do it all himself.

White and some others did not play at the scrimmage today.

@Monster flea.    I know your just trying to just stir the pot...... so I will bite...... you have no idea about the juniors coming up for Hart, but you will soon read about them in the paper.  Hart is a little dinged up but chino hills will be overwhelmed.  I laugh at people that think all we have is Trent Irwin and brady white ..... get ready for ballets like Devin  Norton. DOM CARRILLO.  P MAN    NELSON JAMES  JAKE SHORE  CONNOR BYRNS   ETHAN QUINN    NICK MOORE Blake fall .... WHO DOES CHINO HAVE.  GOENS at defensive end THAT'S ABOUT IT.  SOME MUSCLe HEADS AT LB that bench over 300 lbs. But can't move   won't keep up....

Re: Hart @ Chino Hills Prediction

Not trying to stir any pot. Ballers are people who come in as a freshman and start on varsity like Irwin. Your corners are small, your linebackers are small and slow, your qb is a turnover machine, and your offensive and defensive line are soft. Not to mention no other receivers or a running back this year.

Re: Hart @ Chino Hills Prediction

If they are all so bad how have they been sweeping through the lower levels?
17 Interceptions with 50 total TDs? Eh.. I would like to see less turnovers but I will take that ratio all day with his kind of production.
Jeez man I dont think Hart will be as good as last year either but is the sky really falling??
If what Hart has coming up is so bad I cant even imagine what the rest of the foothill is going to look like. Wow.

Re: Hart @ Chino Hills Prediction

Chino Hills QB is a nice kid, but I feel like him playing QB is like forcing a square peg into a round hole.
He bailed on Upland because he did not want to compete.
Hopefully Bechtel can work some magic.

I hope CH represents the IE and the Baseline well, but I wouldn't bet on them winning.

Re: Hart @ Chino Hills Prediction

Hart did not play White (injury) so that is not the Hart team you will see in season.
Alemany had over 50 suited for Varsity and they did not play their kicker (injury) he will be back next week.

What are your thoughts on both Hart and Alemany from what you saw at the scrimmage?

Who performed better and how did Harts D look?

Re: Hart @ Chino Hills Prediction

Hard to tell how Hart will do without its QB playing. Alemany scored three times in about 23 plays. Harts D did not look bad, Alemany just looked good.

Re: Hart @ Chino Hills Prediction

Not surprisingly, Hart's offense was not as effective with White on the sidelines.  Nevertheless, both Masino and Moore threw the ball well most of the time even though I suspect neither one had any reps in practice.  The RB was okay running the ball but I think he'll be a monster catching passes out of the backfield. He's bigger and stronger than most DBs and faster than most LBs.  He catches the ball well.  The O-line protected well early.  I think there may have been a fair number of subs about halfway through.

The defense was a little shaky when Alemany was initially on offense (Alemany scored on a 60-yard pass on the first play from scrimmage).  Physically, the Indians held their own.  They did, however, have some significant mental lapses in the passing game, blowing coverages.  This was surprising given how well they did this summer in passing tournaments.  Guess the added element of the running game caused some initial confusion.  Once they settled down they did fairly well but there are some kinks to work out.

I'll finally be back in SoCal next week!

The SCV seems to have the market cornered on turds.

The Baseline is a much stronger league than the Foothill.

I hate that I was right but without a running back and White trowing picks like he always does, no Updegraft, Macarthur, Russon, Porter, Wingenroth, Fitzpatrick on defense it is going to be hard winning games throwing that much.Coaching will only get you so far but if you don't have the players it's probably time to play some iron man football with Irwin and others if they want to have any chance on winning more than 5 games

Just my opinion. I would be pissed if I were a Hart fan and my DQ was posting on here.ohlord

Re: Hart @ Chino Hills Prediction

I will, it all depends on if Irwin plays next week and if the defense can learn to tackle in a week or start playing kids on both sides of the ball. The scv signal reported Irwin sat out late in the 4th with a shoulder injury and that hart defense missed a ton of tackles.

Karma = Hart giving up an average of 56 points per game to IE teams over the past two seasons.

Don't expect Santiago to take their foot off the gas pedal.
