Re: Alemany 2013 schedule

imo. DeSean Holmes, already on varsity last year as a soph but should really breakout this year with Mitchell moving on to usc. Tartabull possible All american Army candidate. Nolan Jackson, Tyree Thompson, all on varsity last year but should standout next year as well. Coming up, cif 170 lb wrestling champ, Khalil Swinson. Also Chaz Collins as well as speedster Dominic Davis who broke his collarbone in spring practice last year. One of my favorite young players from Freshman team last year Dandrell Johnson but may not make it to Varsity due to so many returning YOUNG players on defense, but watch for him in the future. Cant wait till 7 on 7's !!! And one last huge addition will be Kurt Scooby, If he keeps his grades up and stays at Alemany he IS a D1 PLAYER, given the chance he WILL standout on the field even among the talent ladden Alemany team. IMO

I know (about DJ) not being the biggest standout, I just like the  kid and his potential. And if Chin puts on a few lbs he will be awesome, his brother Brandon had the same build.

Norco is far from soft...Should be one of the top teams in the Inland this year with league foe corona centennial.

With 16 returning starters Alemany should be very good this Season.
If they have several Juniors they could be a monster next year.

It is usually about returning starters.
It's not whether you win or lose but what you learn as a member of your team that really matters.

norco returns 15 starters every year it feels like haha.
i think they arent going anywhere until they get rid of their daddy ball.
they have size and talent but have been under achieving the last several years.

Re: Alemany 2013 schedule

Alemany has a pretty good program and I hope they can continue their winning ways, but It seems like they are content on just being good enough to win league titles and not cif titles. I would love to see them schedule a game with either of these schools Poly, Serra, Mater Dei or Oceanside. #WISHFUL THINKING

I agree..Gerhart needs go and they have underachieved the past two years...but seriously Norco will be very good this year and in the last two years the freshman teams have been loaded with talent...they have been undefeated and you have some very good players moving up fighting for playing time this year on Varsity...
on offense they return:

LT Vasques 6`4 280lbs-Senior 3 year starter
LG Johnson  6`1 270lbs -Junior 2 year starter
C   Roth 6`1 290lbs-Senior 4 year starter
RG Stanton 6`5 280lbs-Senior 3 year starter
RT Lemus 6`5 275lbs Senior 2 year starter
QB Gerhart 6`1 215lbs Senior 4 year starter
WR Williams 5`9 175lbs Senior 4 year starter
WR Mota 5`9 175lbs Senior 2 year starter
RB  Young 5`10 180lbs- Senior 2 year starter

Re: Alemany 2013 schedule

Gerhart may play "daddy ball" but his son did not start the game at Alemany last year.  I was told they did not want to risk injury since league play was starting the following week.  I am not in the know but did not see "daddy ball" in the Alemany game.  Alemany just had too many weapons for Norco!

Actually Gerhart didn`t practice that week due to a hamstring injury, he only came into the game because both back up Qbs were hurt...so please drop the "i heard" crap...Norco also played without their two starting DE...but hey thats part of the game.... And yes Norco might have lost the game...but I heard straight from the coaches mouth after the game that Norco was the most physical team that they had played.....just look how many Alemany players went out that game due to injury...
