Marmonte Coaching Changes
Any word on possible coaching changes in the Marmonte this year????
Rumor has it the Cal Lutheran Head Coaching position may be open with Coach Mac being courted by 1AA schools. If this position opened up would one of the local head coaches want this job (Benkhert, Lins, etc)?
Besides the possible Cal Lu changes, will we see any new faces at head coach in 2013????????

Didnt get that D3 title but its going to be real hard for any Cali D3 school to ever win a national championship. I wish him luck as he moves up the coaching ranks. Allthough he had a short HS run at Chaminade and most people outside of the coachink ranks have no idea who he is, He is still one of the best coaches to ever coach here in the SFV. I wouldnt be surprised to see him as HC at a major D1 school some day.

Don't know, info was a quick text, and likely way down the grapevine, could be a rumor. Maybe not, in what capacity, I have no idea.

Re: Marmonte Coaching Changes
I doubt the Clausen brothers would take another position at the HS level that wasn't as HC.

Seraphfan - New principal at Crespi, new pres., some lining up behind the coach, others not happy about the school's direction. Good formula for rumors. That's all they are, as far as I know. I'd be REALLY surprised if the Clausens would be brought in other than assistants. No way, for my dough. And do they want to switch schools to be assistants? Doesn't sound right. Ventura

Like I said, info was down the rumor mill aways. From an uncle of a JV player who got it from who knows where. It isn't the first rumor about them leaving though, just threw it out there to see if it got a bite.

Re: Marmonte Coaching Changes
The Clausen Sisters taking over Crespi, that's got the same promise as JimmyBoy ever seeing a down behind center again (unless it's Arena Ball). Rumor has it Jimmy will be back home next fall selling insurance with Daddy and calling plays wit his older sisters.
Would be fun to see Benkhert move up the ranks and take a shot at D3 ball. Mac certainly has set the formula. Also would be great to see a new young face coaching the Warriors!

Wow, just gotta take a jab don't ya. Jimmy hot a 4 year education and a couple million out of the deal, not exactly a bad career. Anyway, this is why I've almost quit posting on here, grown mean acting like squealing bitches, just frothing to slam someone or degrade whoever they don't like. Place gets worse every year, thankfully there's a few decent folks on here still, but not many. Ridiculous.

Excdellent point 805Football. We need guys like yourself in here to try and keep the folks you mention under control. It is unfortunately almost impossible to do. People with little knowledge runnning their mouth and living on the negative side of things. Easier to do that than present some informative data. Oh well, this Country is brimming with these morons. You good guys know I am not referring to you. The fools know who they are. Happy New Year to you my friend as well as the decent posters in here.
It's not whether you win or lose but what you learn as a member of your team that really matters.

Accept for Ricky, they can get under your skin pretty quickly. I'm not bagging on them, just saying they can be a little brash and arrogant at times, ok most of the time. I have to give Jimmy props though. He was drafted in round two and he started several years for ND. Not everyone makes it that far, it's less then .001% of the population.

Anyone who starts for a National D1 program, gets drafted and plays one down in the NFL is pretty darn good. Forget everything else.

Im sorry If I hurt anyones Butts, I didn't realize the Clausen girls were so near and dear to the hearts of the 805 football fans. All the way from Alemany, to Taft, to OC they certainly are a classy family. That father of theirs, what a class act SO HUMBLE! Again I apologize to all you professional high school football bloggers, from here on out I will make sure to keep it classy.
Back to the original point.... The 1AA job MAC was up for was filled by someone else, Anyone hear anything about MAC (Cal Lu) getting the Crespi job?

RE: Marmonte Coaching Changes
What I would love to see is Jimmy Clausen get a shot with another NFL squad. I think he can play. The problem with Carolina was that he did not get much help. Also, when Cam Newton gets drafted after him, any young QB would be riding the pine. As I have always said - he is an exellent QB but might lack the mobility that is becoming so popular in the NFL these days... we shall see but I for one am rooting for the guy to make a career of it as a pro.
