Any insight on Camarillo? Looks like they have a pretty balanced offense based upon MaxPreps stats. Can't find any video on the Scorpions.

Cathedral scares the cr** out of me all to often!  Falling behind early like that will probably not work against the Scorps!

Camarillo is peaking at the right time. Got to say I like the scorps in this one. Camarillo has a knack of being able to put up big points with their offensive scheme plus they typically handle speed well.

This Cathedral team has to clean up their act. They won't be around much longer with the penalties they had last night. Some of the calls were a little suspect but there were some really dumb plays that either backed the offense up or gave the defense a short field to defend.

Go scorps!

Sounds like you guys had a nice comeback after being down 14-0 right out of the gates.  I guess it could have been even worse if SB's # 6 didn't drop that open pick six shortly after that.  Nice win, next week sounds like there will be a lot of passing from both teams.

Those Ref's where Horrible . They were home town ref's. The Phantoms would have blown out Santa Barbara at 40-6 if it wasn't for the officiating.

Ah yes, the refs. I wish we could just play the game w/o them. For what it's worth SB's best running back Cunningham (who was still banged up) played for the first time in five games was nowhere near to what he normally was from what I heard. Good luck vs. Cam

SB players were Holding and blocking in the back's of Phantom players all night. That's what kept SB in the game the no calls. Ref's were horrible period.

The refs were very bad but they had nothing to do with the 2 quick TDs Cathedral gave up to start the game. Bad refs are gonna happen but you need to be able and play through that. There were some big dumb penalties that kept the game closer than it should have been. Cathedral started off slow against Chaminade and were never able to recover. These coaches had better come up with more than those bubble screens if they want to face the Nade again. This Camarillo team looks pretty solid with over 2800 passing yards and 1500 yards on the ground. Should be a good game.

its going to be a close game.. but camarillo will pull it out!
honestly cathedral barely beat an average santa barbara team and camarillo is a better than santa barbara with a lot of momentum too.
camarillo beat HW by 27 phantoms beat them by 10..

Im hoping for a camarillo win.

Nade if they beat Morro Bay would travel to Cam for the semi final. Playing 2 consecutive road games in the quarters at MB and semis at Cam  would gaurantee them a home game in the final with either Lompoc or Serra.

If Cathedral wins Nade would be home vs cathedral in the semi and it would be a coin flip with Lompoc or at Serra.

yea it doesnt matter who wins nade moves on..
but nade on the road would make things a little closer in the finals. in that case go Phantoms!

Foothill I don't know what your fasination is with the Mission We have nothing to do with the foothill league. Why don't you identify your School  instead of talking nonsence.

i dont have a fascination with the mission. i like hs football. nade and others jump all over foothill threads i dont care what they post.. doesnt effect me in any way.

Why Don't you give me a reason why you're talking smack about Cathedral. We don't care about the foothill league. If Your a Coach or a Player call us for a game next season. No Big Deal We already play two Tough teams in Our league Serra and Chaminade.

cathedral probably has better players pound for pound but i believe the camarillo are a better team.
