We have reached the tipping point

We have reached the tipping point

Where the people who expect something for nothing are the majority. I said 20 years ago we will reach a time when the have nots are asked to pay for other have nots, we have reached that point.

I figured it really didn't matter who gets elected, come January 1st life will start to change dramatically. That is the date when the mandated cuts are scheduled to kick in. It probably will happen as we are a very polarized as country so I don't see congress. one that is divided doing anything.

Once the freebies stop, and they will over the next year, people will get very un-easy, much more so than right now. In other places when you take the freebies away people from the non-productive they start to riot.

You liberals enjoy your little party as it will be short lived.

The day of reckoning is coming ........... sooner than most think

Re: We have reached the tipping point

Just got some news off the beaten trek. The money gods are going to drop our credit rating again. Interest rates are going to start up sooner than thought as we will be paying China more for the money we borrow. This is the start of the money melt down  ......... start getting prepared, it isn't going to be pretty.

We will be back in recession by spring. Expect less full time jobs as employers cut hours to not worry about providing insurance. GDP will be nil. Food prices will continue to raise as the dollar tanks. Expect gas to raise by summer to over 5 bucks a gallon.

Dude, you just made yourself a bible hero. Sounds like sacrilege to me.

Same sh!t, different year. This was the same panic I remember from 1996.

Come hell or high water, I wouldn't dream of leaving the old U.S of A. No matter who won, still the greatest nation on earth.

To those of you clearing out...AMF.

You believe that BS. yeah I can build a boat to house 2 of every mamal on earth, enough food water and provisions for all of my family and all of these wild animals. The 10 of us or whatever number of humans it was, will spend 24hrs a day trying to feed and water these animals with what I dont know, More animals and seas water? Float around for a fukkin year and end up 16,000 feet above sea level on a mountain top like the SS Minow. All these animals will somehow survie long enough in a mudhole without any other animals or vegitation to feed on ( unless the sh it kept growing underwater for a year) to repopulate the earth eek1

RE: We have reached the tipping point

Relax. Our great Nation has been through tough times before. Unfortunately, through the course of our history it takes problems of gigantic proportions to get ALL political factions on the same page and motivated to solve.
If what you are predicting is in our future, we will come through the challenges ahead as we have in the past.
Don't care what political party you fancy. Complaining and voicing opinion is healthy and part of the process.
It's the good old USA for me even though my candidate did not win last night.

RE: We have reached the tipping point

Have you guys seen the market this morning?

The problem:

1. You can't keep spending money you don't have. When the cuts happen and the freebies stop there will be major trouble. Just look at Greece

2. When the boomers really start to retire in waves the problem is unless you have a cushy union pension you won't be able to retire. Once the writing is on the wall people are going to get pissed.

3. Once the government tries to touch SSI as they like to call it an entitlement but the fact is it is our money, it isn't an entitlement, we paid in to it, we deserve it.

4. Obamacare will help bankrupt us. We can't afford it. Unless your union get ready for a huge influx of only part time jobs at minimal wages.

5. Most importantly unless we have a spiritual awakening we are doomed as a nation.

Re: We have reached the tipping point

it's a downer, and sadly it was expected.

for me, it's more of a big disappointment in the american electorate.

75% of the people said they were worse off than 4 years ago.
yet they elected a dbag that ran on nothing because he had nothing.
no solutions. just buncha george bush blame. and he still won.
its mind boggling, but when you start getting into demographics and **** it all adds up.
people are stupid.

if it ever gets as bad as some people envision...SHTF status...
we can just hope that the rat masses are so dependent on the gov that they won't know how to wipe their own ass, let alone survive against a buncha hungry cons. noidea

blahhhh, the burned out product of the 70's single mom on drugs who hates life that i work with already made a point of coming in and telling me about her savior obama and how he's gonna save the country and how business is gonna increase...im looking at my ticker and the dow is down like 2.5%...fkin dumb betch? oh well
