Miami police kill naked man found eating another man's face Daniela Guzman and Diana Moskowitz | McClatchy Newspapers Posted on Sunday, May 27, 2012 MIAMI — Only the police tape, the bloodstain on the ground and a grotesque mystery remained Sunday after the brutal attack on the MacArthur Causeway in which one naked man was shot dead by police after he attacked another naked man and began eating his face. ... Security video from the adjacent Miami Herald building captured snippets of the violence on the MacArthur’s off-ramp to Biscayne Boulevard as the two men — one dead, the other gravely injured — lay on the sidewalk as scores of officers arrived. The victim remained Sunday at Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center. In addition to eating the man’s flesh, his attacker, according to police sources, tried to gouge out his eyes. Neither was identified Sunday, and the name of the officer who killed the attacker was not released. But that didn’t stop people from talking, wondering and offering up their own theories. Police said it all began about 2 p.m. Saturday when a Road Ranger spotted the men and shouted on his loudspeaker for the attacker to back away. Meanwhile, a woman also saw what was happening flagged down an officer. One witness, Larry Vega, told WSVN-Fox 7 he was riding his bicycle on the MacArthur when he saw a man tearing off pieces of the victim’s flesh with his mouth. “I told him to get off,” Vega told the station, “and the guy just kept eating the other guy away.” Vega said he found a police officer, who approached and told the attacker to get off the man. “The guy just stood, his head up like that, with pieces of flesh in his mouth,” Vega said. “And he growled.” The officer fired, striking the attacker, but the man kept chewing, Vega said. The officer fired again, hitting him several more times, eventually killing him. MIAMI — The naked man who tried to eat another man's face before he was shot dead by police was identified Monday.
The Miami Herald reported that the attacker was 31-year-old Rudy Eugene.
The man he attacked remained in extremely critical condition Sunday night at Jackson Memorial Hospital. Much of his face was gone, the skin ripped away, the nose bitten and the eyes gouged.
What remained was his goatee and little else.

The dumb cop didn't know his zombie rules enough to go for the headshot immediately. He pumped six rounds into the zombie before it finally quit chewing.
This is seriously the most F'd up article I've read in years. The other guy was alive, for God's sakes. I watched the youtube clip. Good lord.. The police said the victim's face had been chewed off from his forehead to his chin, with his nose and eyeballs already devoured. And he was still alive, mind you. And they said they've had other similar instances, too. This wasn't the first wacked out naked guy they've encountered recently. It sort of reminds me of that movie Quarantine.
Bron Bron better re-think that whole South Beach move. We don't have alot going for us in NE Ohio sometimes, but at least the zombie apocolypse isn't starting here.

The story and thread indicate two things very wrong with society.
First, the attacker represents the worst depths to which humans can descend. Bespeaks of a lack of morality in general and proper upbringing specifically.
Second, it is sad that poster after poster can make light of what happened to that poor victim.
There is no shame left in this society.

There is no shame left in this society. Its all wrong to me anyways and very sad. Yeah whatever was offered out on the streets must have been a designer/generic/cheaper version. Including bath salts??? Who knows whats being used to hustle these days. We are talking very strong chemicals that alter the mind and body's physiology to over the top worse then ever.
