Haha, I know what you're saying.  But I lived in Chicago for 5 years.  The north side along the lake is as good of a city atmosphere as you'll find IMO, though it does have it's troublesome areas like any city that size.  But the west and especially south sides are brutal.  My wife taught on the south side for a couple years, it's unbelievable what's going on there with gangs and murder rates.

Want to see the players that haven't had a chance to show there stuff yet.

Crowell, Johnson and Maybe even Burleson will decide to line up once or twice.

IDK, I love football. My favorite team is the Browns.

So, yeah, I'm watching it.

Or further than 10 yards outside the hash marks. You know. A pool. A pond. Either is good.

Re: Tonight's game and opponent

Yeah yeah I get injuries. I saw Cody Reisen lost for a season in game 4 once.

Butt I never understood why for teams that are clearly out of sorts and sucking in execution, and we've seen plenty here, the coaches don't keep the first teamers out there until they show they can execute.

What good is health if you still suck?.

So Cleveland would be the broke, living at home loser? AKA MeatandPotatoes?

Anyone posting "who cares" really needs to ask themselves what they are doing on this board... We spend months drilling down on offseason activites, facebook/twitter posts/pics, cap numbers, draft options 2 years away, etc,...

Tonight we have a game against another NFL team with 18 members on the roster that will need to be cut just a day or two later...

I CARE AND SO SHOULD YOU!!!

Re: Tonight's game and opponent

I don't care if the Bears bring in a bus full of fans to play defense... I want to see the Browns first string offense go out and develop a rythm.  While the preseason doesn't mean anything as far as final score, it would be nice to develop some cohesion and confidence.

Everybody is freaking out about Gordon, but this team had 5 other pro-bowlers on it last year, 3 of them on offense.  I don't expect them to be spectacular on that side of the ball, but I really don't think it's going to be as bad as everybody seems to be making it out to be.  We shall see...

The curse is gone... it's over... and it's time for Cleveland Browns football to return

It may only be a preseason game but I swear if I see the Bears complete a 3rd and 21 I will lose my mind.

Another talented, but injury-prone OL at the time was Ricky Bolden, #77, the right tackle. He was very good when he was healthy...the word "healthy" being the key.

Santonio Holmes tells me he is definitely playing for the Bears tonight. Asked if he'd return kicks. Smiled. Said: "I don't know. Do you?"

The # Bears' first team offense and defense is running a real walkthrough right now at First Energy. Not playing a snap, so get work in

Nate Burleson, who for maybe the first time in 12 years is on a roster bubble: "I just have to catch balls. Whoever's throwing them."
