Manziel won't change!!

profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/...nt-be-changing/

My favorite part is the end. Where Florio goes off and imagines a guy getting pissed at Manziel. And Manziel hits him with a champagne bottle.

Un- Pause..................Back to Madden 2013.

Then he better get used to all the TMZ reports on him. He also better be ready for the backlash if he fails because fair or unfair, this will be used as an example of why he did.

Been to every regular season game played at CBS/FES since 99. Prediction 1/15/13- Johnny FootTALL = Bust. Hope i'm wrong if we draft him

I think he understands, if he does not perform on the field he's done.

Who is he handing it to? One of the kids at a play 60 event?

Another opinion based garbage article about Johnny.   Aren't we getting tired of posting and reading this garbage DAILY?  I wonder how many of the opinionated hacks from print media and visual media would fair if their life was under a microscope. Give the kid time to grow up.

Good for him.  Everybody shaking fingers at the kid like they had never been young and wreckless before.  The kid doesn't have a history of getting into trouble. He should enjoy his life because lord knows he worked hard enough to achieve it.  I'll save judgement for if when his number is called.

For some reason I couldn't open it up. But by the title alone had to laugh as he aged 3 weeks and the Bozos expect him to mature cause he's 3 weeks older?  Also last I heard the Browns didn't ask him to change. He asked us n we said be free just don't break the law. or there abouts.

Can’t get to Johnny? No problem for the locals. They just move on to pester the other guys on the team to the point that they now say they are tired of all the questions.

Of course our local hacks just turn that around to imply the team is tired of JFF. Hey MK Dingbat. What are they tired of? All the questions about Johnny. Who is constantly badgering them with them same tripe, regardless of the event? You locals.

Nope, able to keep my nose clean throughout college and still have fun, as were all my other college friends. It really isn't that hard and comes down to decision making. Johnny has shown a history of poor decision making and a hot temper, a bad combination.

If this same incident were to happen now, Johnny getting in a fight and arrested because his friend yelled a racial slur the national media would have a field day.

This x1,000,000,000.

The local media is so devoid of actual journalistic talent, they imitate those they identify as successful (page views).  Unfortunately the 'news outlets' local media models themselves after are ESPN and TMZ.  I would love more than anything else for the local media head honchos to clean house and bring in some people who know how to actually cover a professional franchise in a professional manner.

Good for you. Glad to Hear it. But getting into one altercation does not make a history.

Many people get into altercations and usually walk away but he got caught.

Obviously if it happened today the media would have a field day.

The kid can't take a dump without some media outlet reporting it.

But saying he has a history is a bit of a stretch.

Re: Manziel won't change!!

I agree that it isn't much of a history but it is something to keep an eye out on. I hope he  is successful and who knows, maybe his lifestyle won't distract from his play on the field but right now he hasn't done anything to let the media think differently. Once he plays and wins, he can silence critics. This entire summer he would have been wiser to take his pre-draft approach, stay silent.
