Re: Where'd you go to high school? What sports did you play?

Beavercreek Beavers (near Dayton) - mid-70's, the best years...
I was quite the wrestler in Jr High, but I quit my Sophomore year for bad reasons, then played Baseball my Jr and Sr year, CF, then SS.  I didn't play baseball my Sophomore year cause I was stupid (ripped that up in Jr High, too), but I countered those errors by having a lot of fun otherwise!

John H. Patterson Co-op. 1976, Dayton, Ohio. Played baseball, baseball and more baseball. Didn't quit until 10 years ago when I realized I had become slow as hell and couldn't throw without a big ouchy.

Interesting. What schools were you  up against ?
Cleveland South and Lorain Southview - seriously.  It drove Don Cameron nuts.

The program was taped on the day OJ broke Jim Brown's single season rushing record.  So it was bitter sweet.
You ever hear of a similar show out of Columbus called In the Know.  I actually got away with dropping an F-bomb on that show (they didn't edit it out).

As far as (Flava Flav) Mallett's hokey quote, what he should have said was, "hard work beats talent, but nothing beats weed and Vanilla Ice. Word." - PBT

Ended up at the old Beavercreek cinema the night before I graduated (1984) with some blonde I had never met, drunk off my arse.  When we woke up in the back of the minivan the next morning I had to hightail it back home (60 or so miles) to go to the ceremony, hung over.

Gave my Salutatorian speech wearing sunglasses and her earring.

My parents and grandparents I don't think ever forgave me.

In my taping, one of the guys from Lorain Southview shouted out a JC after getting one wrong.

They didn't erase it, but Cameron was already reading the next question so it was hard to make it out unless you knew it was coming.
