Actually Ed O'Neill played his HS State Champion football at Ursuline,
Youngstown Ohio. He was awarded a football scholarship at Ohio University. Worked briefly at Commercial Shearing on the North Side of Youngstown too I've been told. |

Was offered a football scholarship to St Ed's but after 8 years at a catholic grade school I wanted to see more girls. My dad was pissed as both my brothers played at St Ed's. Went to Berea High and majored in drinking and smoking weed and never touched a football again. And to this day my knees say thank you! |

Wow, we have several things in common. I had "assistance" to go to St Ignatius, that's what they called it as scholarships weren't permitted. Man were the nuns at St Charles in Parma pissed when I turned it down. I had no desire to take two buses to school every day, wear ties, and have no girls at school.
I went to Parma, played football, won LEL titles and have had two scopes on my knees.
