Don't look now but Kris Russell has his first goal as a Blue. Nikitin is playing with Toots and has not been noticable yet tonight...not good or bad.

Cuple of nice saves by Mason. Nash is playing with Carter and Umberger and not sure either guy can skate with Nash right now. Not fair to criticize Carter but Umberger doesn't work on that line!

Fantastic pass by Prospal making the play while Buff is sliding into him and taking out his legs and Johansen has a long stick and reach (like Nash) and does a nice job not over-skating the goal and scoring the goal.

I think I prefer Umberger on the Prospal and Johansen line...perhaps you move MacKenzie up to first line to center Nash and Carter and see how that works.

I like MacKenzie on that Nash line. It really seems those two gel pretty good out there. We definately have alot of flexibility up front with all four lines. Just need to light a fire under the D's behind now.

MacKenzie is a solid faceoff guy and I think he skates very well. If Carter is better off on the wing...I have no concerns with MacKenzie between them. It makes his job easy...win the faceoff and get the puck on Nash and Carter's sticks.
