Welcome Home LeBron,

Welcome Home LeBron,

Last thread is locked.  Well, we are well over 100 pages and counting.  At this rate we will be looking at 4 topics full of LeBron talk.  If it is not tonight, then i am betting he waits till he returns from Brazil next week or maybe vacation.  The 11 deadline is coming soon, the Bath Police are looking to head home soon.

This is taking way too long to be interesting.

It's kind of ironic that James main wish is for someone to build a roster around him but then at the same time, he drags his decision out way longer than what he even anticipated which in some ways cripples teams chances of adding the help he needs. It's hard to do with available players coming off the board with each passing day he's trying to fix a server for his website to handle the traffic of his choice. Very ironic imo.

The Cavaliers Roster is kind of full, I don't think it is the quantity of pieces they are worried about.

Adrian Wojnarowski @WojYahooNBA 1 minute ago
Cavs talked w/ agents Thursday on players designed to surround LeBron James. Had hopes he'd commit to Cleveland before day's end. Nothing.

A grand total of TWO potential depth free agents have signed in the last 24 hours (that I like) and the entire upper portion of the market is frozen.

Can everyone here STFU up about how LeBron is screwing himself out of teammates?  People are waiting on him, he owns this FA market.

PJ Tucker and James were tough hits, but they also were either way overpaid or went back to the team that saved their careers.

Next sack of crap talking about how many players have been missed because of this delay better provide gawd damn names.

Yep, that is clearly a Riley press release.

As much fun as it is to speculate and hope, I don't feel like this is going to happen.

Really don't see the Heat winning again with the same 3 and a bunch of **** because the West has numerous teams capable of spanking them now, but chances are the Heat can roll into the Finals for 1-2 more years without much of a problem. LeBron is 2-2 with the Heat but they do essentially cruise to the Finals every single year because of how terrible the East is.

noidea

As a previous poster suggested.....there would be no bigger world wide audience for Lebron James to make his intentions known than at the World Cup Championship game on Sunday. ABC/ESPN/NBA/LBJ would all love this huge extra international media boost. And this should keep Bosh/Houston within their 3 day window to finalize their deal.

If you read his latest article he states Lebron left the meeting with Riley unconvinced. Wade was sent as a last ditch effort to recruit him back to Miami.

I know he and Wade are tight but I actually felt better about our chances of getting him after reading this article. I don't care how close those two are Lebron is making a business decision. And there were many times last year he was frustrated that Wade would stretch and warm up with the team and at the last minute be a scratch from the lineup. I honestly think Lebron sees that but this is Riley's Hail Mary. My opinion is if Woj is right and Lebron left that meeting unconvinced that the Heat can revamp that roster then he eventually will commit to Cleveland. It may take longer because he may find it difficult to tell his best friend no but I just don't think he wants to carry that team again and still not have enough to win a championship.

I'm not attacking you or anything but are Lebron and Wade really best friends? They are friends no doubt about it but Lebron is much closer to Chris Paul and even for that matter Big Z than he is Wade IMO. If anything he is probably just trying to man up and apologize to the guy for turning down 42 million over the next 2 years while he made up his decision. Let's hope thats the case.

He's going to Miami. There was so much momentum and buzz for Cleveland that he would have announced it already. Now he's waiting for it to die down do the sting will be less for Cleveland. We will start to be fed a lot of Lebron to Miami rumors to shift that momentum and then he will announce it.

I'm excited for the Cavs regardless.

Hate to say it but I agree. Sheridan will really look bad.

Best friends may be a stretch but they are extremely close. He's definitely closest with Wade than he is any other Heat teammate. Anyways that's just my opinion. I felt on Wednesday he was all Cleveland, yesterday I would have bet Miami, this morning I think Cleveland again. I trust Woj he's like the Lane of the NBA. If that's truly what went down I like our chances. But much like Broussard tweeted not 85%. I'd go 60% sure. Eventually he does have to make an announcement right?

Same Cavs fans melting this morning will be the same ones celebrating when any positive Cavs news comes out today. Have the past three days taught some of you nothing?

One would think lol. Maybe he just is going to announce that he is taking his talents to Cleveland, the Browns to replace Gordon and is trying to get all the details worked out. Lane better break that.

I get what you're saying too on the friends part. Just really hard to trust this situation in the Cavs favor when what is being reported and like always have to take most with some salt, that Lebron has met with Riley and has been with Wade for quite some time the last couple days with his camp but still has not face to face met with Gilbert or Blatt. You would think some type of sit down would have to occur. Now obviously something could have that we just don't know about but that makes me very weary that it seems that still has not happened.

Also would like to present this, just spitballing here:

Broussard has been saying Cavs all along, wouldn't him adding a ":)" seem to indicate he thinks the chances are higher and not lower? Again, no clue...but it would make sense.

He is going back to Miami.  Wednesday he would have had a parade.  Now people are like "meh" or the hate has come back.  He can look Savanah in the eye and say "see they still hate me."

LeDrama fits him very well

I'd tend to agree that Broussard putting a :) was a positive right up until the point the heat owner favorited it :(

If it is assumed that Wade will re-sign with the Heat, why hasn't he done it yet?
