I know that some of you do not want to hear this, but there is lots of talk going on this morning...I mean a LOT!!!!

Well, my colleague has told me Wiggins IS part of a possible deal.

I asked what the deal was supposed to be and he is texting somebody now.

i spoke to a player who is close to lebron... he laughed at the notion that heat's recent moves would impress lebron.... (1/2)

... (2/2) that player's belief is miami would have been better off holding cap space to sell lebron on prospect of something bigger.

Just a question for those that like the Wiggins for Love deal.

Would a starting team of Kyrie/Allen/LBJ/Love/AV be able to beat OKC/Houston and the Spurs?

SHlT... no reply on text.

We guess that Varejao, Waiters, and Wiggins would be base deal.

(still trying to text... not gonna give up)

Re: James thread

A guy on ESPM who is suppose to be in the update says he believes James to Cleveland is almost a done deal.

He was saying 80% yesterday and now he says 85%.  I guess it gives him a little wiggle room.

Some believe it will be settled in 48 hours.  It is getting close.

It is nice that NBA basketball is filling in the dead time of the NFL between mini-camp and training camp.

When do see start getting reports on the Cavs summer league???

It would be Waiters at the #2 probably - and a guy off the street at the 5, because they won't be able to pay Varejao if they add Love and LBJ.  And I don't really see that Cavs team as an underdog (or much of one at all) to any team.

@Espngreeny: If Lebron does go to Cleveland, they should move heaven and earth to turn Andrew Wiggins into Kevin Love. #Cavs

Mike Greenberg ESPN

@Espngreeny: This has gotten to where it will be as bad as last time if he doesn't go back to Cleveland, no matter how he announces it. #Lebron

@Espngreeny: I hope Lebron James knows what he's doing.

our new coach would be the missing piece, good or bad.  I think talent-wise we would have the edge.

Not sure of the answer, but add Wiggins to those names....how exciting would that be?

That being said, I would do the deal in a heartbeat.

Another guess we have is that Dieng and Robinson may be coming to Cavs in deal.

OK add Waiters take out AV would they beat the best of the west?

None of this is remotely possible if Chris Grant was still the GM.

Obviously way too much to give Minnesota, regardless of whether Love signs extension.

In my opinion - its not a gimme.  Houston would pose some problems with those bigs, and SanAntone is stacked (but getting older) - but I don't see that Cavs team being much of an underdog to anyone - they won't be getting smoked by anyone like Miami did.

Re: James thread

Something else (from colleague) Cavs have made every deal with conditions. If LeBron doesn't sign with Cavs, Cavs have option to nullify deal. League office has said that they can do this within 72 hours.

Re: James thread

Broussard just said on ESPN that Cleveland has 85% shot of landing Lebron.

Yea I have never heard of that but would definitely be interesting, if true.

Re: James thread

I think Minnesota loses a lot of power if Lebron signs prior to a trade. No way does Love resign with them next year and if they want something for him they better get on with it.

The young assets we can provide makes it an easy choice. Hate that it would cost wiggins which I think could be a lot like K. Leonard with better offense but wiggins and probably Thompson for a 24 year old Love is more than acceptable.
