Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Got the DVD through Netflix tonight and decided to watch. Oh Sh** that was a good movie. Highly recommended.

Seriously?  I never would have considered watching it, but I'll throw it in the Netflix queue.

I wanted to see it, but it wasn't one of those movies that I REALLY wanted to see.

James Franco is not great in it and there is a point where it pays homage to the original that is clunky, but only lasts for a couple seconds.

Other than that though, it was incredible.

Worth a rental.  Excited to see where they go with the series.

Re: Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Well, that happened.

Definitely was not a fan - thought the CG was lacking and a few other things just didn't sit well with me.

No worries, though.  I am quite certain that there I movies I have really enjoyed that would send most people looking for the remote.  I just wanted to throw my opinion out there so others who might read this thread would have a larger sample from which to form their opinion.
