Maybe the Browns were too embarassed to say, "He just didn't want to play here so we rescinded the trade rather than have to deal with a potential holdout and someone who is pissed off about being here." 

Bunkely probably figured the Browns were committed to Rubin and Taylor, so they just wanted him for "veteran depth", whereas he had definite plans on starting. The Broncos gave him a chance to start and earn a big contract, which he took full advantage of.  

But now I think they look equally stupid for saying the guy failed his physical when it's now obvious there was nothing wrong with him at all.

They should have just said that Bunkley asked to be traded to a team where he would get a chance to start and they decided to honor his request. Anyway, it's probably for the best since he wouldn't have stayed more than one year anyway. He really showed the Eagles. I'm just glad he went to the NFC and didn't sign a long term deal with the damn Broncos.

Those articles shed a lot of light..except why does Denver always pick up players that leave here???
