Re: Pure Football QB prediction game/contest

Browns will make 3/4's hearted attempt at Flynn, who will sign elsewhere.

On draft day, Browns will do nothing, and Griffin will go undrafted until their turn.

Then they'll trade down with a team desperate for Griffin and receive a number of players/picks.

I think they'll draft a qb and hedge their bets that they can get a low rent version of a Drew Brees/Phillip Rivers situation.  Give McCoy another year in the offense with some more support, and if he makes the great leap forward (okay, an acceptable hop forward), then they're good.

If he still doesn't work out, try the new guy in 2013.

And I don't think this is what Randy Lerner had in mind when he wanted the club to resolve its qb situation.

But hey, he's just a fan with deep pockets, and they're the experts.

Vark,  LBS agrees. Randy is a fan with deep pockets........and.............very short  arms.
