Re: On Last Time

But , just to humor you .

.........my going with Richardson at #4 is because Blackmon may be gone and there are
several hi-quality receivers that will still be around at #22 whereas Richardson will not.
We both seem to agree that a real good DE/LB/CB will still be available at #37. So, you're
saying Miller instead of Richardson and Blackmon instead of Jeffery/Floyd/Sanu. I could live with that,
but if Blackmon is gone who do you pick at #4? And if you manage to get Blackmon at #4,
what if Richardson + Miller are gone at #22 = possible.

I want CERTAINTY as much as possible. I've read everything I can on Richardson and Miller...Miller
is faster, and that's it...I assume you've read here: http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/d...rospectrankings AND
here:
http://walterfootball.com/draft2008P.php

Richardson is CERTAIN at #4
Jeffery/Floyd/Sanu (One of them) is CERTAIN at #22

We'll see about Flynn like I said................but either Flynn or McCoy with Richardson/Hillis + Jeffery/Little/Cribbs
= something to fear at last.

SD:

Not trying to be argumentative but defenses lining up vs Flynn won't hardly be scairt.

He's not an elite talent with an elite arm and is no threat to run .

While RG3 on OTOH would make a defense defend every square inch of the field sans the luxury of turning their back and simply running with the receivers for fear of opening running lanes which RG3 sprinters speed would gash them to pieces  .

You hope for competency and efficiency with Flynn inlieu of the clusterf u c k misstep offense butchered under Mccoy .

Don't get me wrong compared to the last two years competency  and reliable play ,
would seem like we found nirvanna compared to the inept stupid play we've too often seen these last two years , and would be most welcome.

But the fear factor will hardly be raised as Flynns arm isn't appreciably stronger than McCoys although he's demonstrated far more accuracy touch and timing  at the helm of a very talented receiving corp.

The other kid OTOH is a threat from anywhere  on the field capable of completing the deep ball  from any point on the field  and a threat to score with his legs from any point in the field anytime he so chooses to run .

He brings a threat which must be respected and makes the defense play honest which frees up running lanes and passing lanes  as they have to cover every corner, thus making a bruiser like Hillis twice as effective in play action , and giving him running room as teams won't be able to load up the box for fear of being beat on the edges..

On your other point , "IF" we have Flynn and Blackmon is gone  trade down  or draft Coples the DE if we sign Hillis  before hand .

I'd use my 22nd pick on Miller even if Richardson fell that far , don't like his body type he has no top end speed and i believe he'll be nothing but a target in the pros as he has no shake and bake .

We allready have that in the White Rhino.

Its just my opinion but I see Richardson as a great college back whose success won't automatically translate to the pros , Millers elusiveness coast to coast speed and ability to catch is more valuable , and more the match I would look to pair with Hillis

Yeh, but it's Flynn/McCoy + Richardson (or your Miller) + Jeffery/Sanu (or your Blackmon) = SCAIRT
versus RGIII + ?

BTW - does anybody agree that if we grab Flynn or RGIII that McCoy can be packaged with our #3
to grab another #2?

Re: On Last Time

Nope , but you could net a bucket of balls and some party favors without to much problem.

There isn't anybody in the NFL who would trade out their starter for Colt  , so Colt the backup  roster fodder  really only has value in the warped minds of Brown fan boyee nation .

You'd be hard pressed to get a sixth round pick for him tomorrow  strait up  , so Colt with a third wouldn't net a 2nd even if you factored with a Chinese abacus .

Teams can find injury proned small framed weak armed  projects with limited abilities  everytime they invite in udfa's  end of the draft  for free so there isn't that much market outside of Cleveland for teams looking to pay for one.

About the most you could hope for is to move up a couple spots in the fourth  round from the fifth  if that, because your starting into the territory of throw away picks
