So far I get there was a lot of sloppy. Execution wise or penalty wise? I''m assuming execution wise since up until now, they've been surprisingly disciplined on the penalty front. I was pretty impressed with that against the Packers. Maybe not so impressed as surprised with our experience level.
With the shortened in between seasons work schedule, I don't expect to see a tune-up game this year in the pre-season. Normally, it's the third game (upcoming against Philly), but I don't think we're there yet and we still got more looksees to take. Normally the last pre-season is a slide game with the first team pretty much taking it off. If we have a tune-up game this year, I expect the final game would be it this year, but I'm not expecting it.
SD:
Thursday nights game will be the next best thing to the regular season you'll see this summer .
Both teams will use their starters to play the first series or two in the third and garbage time won't come until the fourth .
Last game of the year will be for bubble players and all the guys who need to dust off their resumes and UPS aplications.
Doubt Colt or the starters play more than one series , and some may be flat held out and not play at all.
