It's interesting he disses the committee idea. Banner and Haslam laid it out that picks would be made by "consensus".

At the end of the day, I'm ok with Mallet at QB for the Browns. He fits what I believe Chud/Turner want to do.

However, I think it's foolish to giveup picks for a player who isn't a definite upgrade over what we already have on the roster. A player with no starting experience who has thrown 4 career passes, with one int.

But I do believe Mike Lombardi would do it in a NY minute.

Guy has a terrific arm , but his footwork  is even worse than Kosars duck waddling gait , and you could find more brain cells from the DNA smear on a licked postage stamp.

So he picked Mallet and Gabbert and said only time would tell who was right. I wonder what he has to say now.

Mallet went in the third and will never see the field in NE.

Gabbert couldn't hit water if he fall out a boat.

I guess they won't be building any monuments to Mike Lombardi either.

Mallett's- 26

Mallett had a 3.7 ish GPA and graduated. He was also able to be recruited by Michigan, a respectable academic institution. He has his warts, but his arm is something else. He also has a head for the game and can just exploit busted coverages. He sells his playaction better than the defamers claim he sells crack- phenominally.

There are serious reasons to be impressed with Ryan Mallett's ability at quarterback.

It's inaccurate stuff.
