Re: Read this!

Troublesome.  He puts all the blame on the NFL because they have the money. No responsibility on himself, his attitude, his high school or college years or the reported congenital weakness.  A tragedy, no doubt, but not one for which the NFL is solely culpable. Hard to say who is the culpable party.  Seems a half-dozen qualify for that.  Any difference with Muhammed Ali? Any other serious contact, high impact sport?

Re: Read this!

Agreed red, but it smacks as to what happens to some of these guys after football.

The part about Walsh not even visiting him after surgery or even sending a card was poignent.

When you look at the ex roiders like Mike Webster, etc whose lives fell apart because of their dedication and cheating to be the best...it's just a disclaimer on the sport we all follow.

Then you look at Marino, Howie Long and the other media guys...and there's a big difference.

The league has a group suing it and we are hearing more and more about the effects of playing in the nfl in the media.  Bigger guys, bigger cheaters, bigger money...noidea

The fact is, this guy's really screwed up.
